Thanks guys… was thinking the liquid adhesive was going to be the way to go over the double sided sticky tape… The tape sticks well to the door, but the seal just doesn’t want to have anything to do with it.

This will also let me try out the local NAPA and my discount card 🙂

Doesn’t anyone get sick and tired of having to show proof of who you are before you are allowed to spend your money?

    Disney, Sam’s, airlines, etc?

The reason why I ask about the fireplace is that while we were in Las Vegas it was in the upper 30’s at night, mid 50’s during the day. We use a small electric heater which works well. At night, I did use the Aqua-Hot and it kept the whole coach nice and toasty.

I did see the picture of the fireplace in the Emerald coach. But, somewhere, I saw either a Marathon, Liberty or Millennium with a fireplace behind the driver’s seat (I would want the salon area in the front, not the middle). The fireplace seemed to fit perfectly in that location and I think it’s something we would use to knock the chill off of the room.

I’ve never seen one in person or how well they work, that’s why I’m asking.

the side marker lights are 12v tow bulb per fixture.

Still need to order the top marker lights as well as the front lower lights.

I’ll post up the part numbers I used for everything after I am done (and collect the packing slip which is in the bus right now).

Try reading the info in this link, it will answer a lot of your questions. Putting 3 teenagers on the back seat of a 4 door Jeep may be a little tight.

This has a lot of info

    Tour
buses and trucks use US550 between Durango and Grand Junction all the time.
US550 between Durango and Ouray is a very mountainous
    road,
    but it’s also a major highway. It’s a
very beautiful drive but you do need to pay attention to your driving
especially in a large vehicle like a bus or truck.

    Boateral,

Thanks for posting the video. There is a video just like that one that I saw a couple of years ago but they are using a motorhome. But the same rules obviously apply.

I was thinking if the cruise is on and a tire lost pressure, the cruise would continue on just like in the video. I’m thinking it wouldn’t be too alarming and we could just mash down on the accelerator.

Hope it never happens to any of us!

Rangerbrake.com. (Brake Chambers)They are in Alexandria Tn and are a US company and point that out on their website One of our local after market truck shops is getting a Type 3036 for our coach’s drive for about $900.

Another local outfit is getting me a price from Bendix for the tag lift Type 36 using Prevosts number and cross referenced to Bendix. I will, post their results when they call back

Jon and others are correct on airbag pricing. Locally we can get Goodyear 1R11-088 airbags for a whopping $3250, with list price being $3730. With that info, I ordered 6 airbags from Prevost Elgin. By their way, they are made in Mexico, with manufacture date of 1/14. I called the Prevost branch that is shipping them, lay eyes on them and tell me origin and date of manufacture not wanting a Chinese made bag fearing they wouldn’t last. Ours current bags have manufacture date of 10/91.

Talked to the folks at Barker Manufacturing today, they own the Braund antenna line. The technicians I spoke with said the Concord 90 was discontinued about 5 years ago and they are slowly running out of parts to support repairs. They said there are no plans to continue with parts once the inventories are gone.

I explained the lack of high quality off-air antennas and they agreed. In fact several of the employees have offered suggestions to the company for new style high end antennas aimed just for luxury conversions and HDTV local broadcasts.

They asked if we would express our concerns to their company in the hopes of generating some interest and future antenna products. I sent them an E-mail and hope some more of you will.

    The E-mail is : sales@barkermfg.com
