Tom,
We would like the suggestion too on selling the plastic coach. I had one idea in mind but would like to hear your suggestion.
We have several summer trips lined up and in the fall, we’ll probably put the coach somewhere for sale.
Thanks,
Mark

Tom, how much is an 8 tire system and can you bring one to Tampa ?

Hey Tom I know you have been busy but I think you better read that email once more—- they said they would bring the beer !!!!!!! This might call for a rethink.

nice looking job ! we have been thinking about doing this to our coach as well. If you don’t mind me asking, what did it cost ?? you can email me if you don’t want to put it out there. carmichael@hughes.net thank you !

I would suggest you contact the converters. I would guess each has experience in installing systems to accomodate special needs. We saw our first center door handicap access on a conversion in the very early 90’s so I am sure the systems and designs are already available.

Will contact owner–he is just burned out on remodel. Is soooo close.. I know history of coach and will provide support from that end. bob

I have had my NAPA discount card for a long time but never used it until today. Most of the time I forget about having it. I purchased a new air filter. The filter listed for $129. They told me that I could buy with their preferred customer discount of $91 but with the PC/NAPA card, I paid $62. Well worth getting the card if you use NAPA.

What does it control??

Congratulations! You’ve made a great decision.
We’ve all traveled the long road with you on the PC forum and are pleased to hear you’re excited.

The reason I have AGM for starting batteries is to have the same charging characteristics as the house AGM batteries. Since I can only set the inverter/chargers for either flooded cell or AGM1 or AGM2, it makes sense to me to keep all the batteries the same type.
Of course this only is a factor when parked and the inverters are maintaining the chassis batteries in addition to the house battery banks.
Maybe you have a different system that maintains the chassis batteries?

Kevin, I do always switch-off my satellite control box when we are done viewing for the night. I do this because the switch and the power supply develop a lot of heat inside a small compartment. When I want to watch TV once again, I switch the Winegard controller box back on and it does usually take 2-3 minutes before the dish has locked onto 3 satellites. I think they are 110, 119 and 128. Once locked on, it stays that way for as long as I watch TV. Recently, during the Olympics, this was hours at a time.
As for your problem, perhaps, it is a bad cable between your dish and the VIP box?
Cheers,
Ronald

Jerry, was the defective regulator mfg. SMC ? If so I’ll get Brian at Eagle Fluid Air to cross referance for you.

Tom,
You are right. I am never far away. The charger has a timer but the timer does not function properly so I am the external timer.

Will do Tom, oh by the way ,Eds coach is back and I looked at the antenna setup. no pics yet but its a sole’. He says the picture is great. The damn thing is only about 8 inches off the roof. They took off the old base and riveted in a metal patch . I dont know if the brackets are provided or if they made them but it sure looks like a professional job. The website is sole’.com according to the printing on the antenna.I will get some pics of it this week
