Do we have anyone with connections at Disney for tickets to the Magic Kingdom? Have to take the grandkids in late March and have sticker shock! Crap, I thought the bus was expensive until I looked at the Disney deal…

I don’t want to pour gas on the fire But….get your wallet out opening wide. You are about to spend the family fortune on this magic kingdom. It is the formula that Walt Disney has put together…. The formula to vacuum your money out of your wallet. I’am not talking misc spending cash either.

Example…. regular waiting lines and with more money you can wait in prefered waiting lines.

IMHO …it was the most over priced event I have ever attended in my life. You think busing is expensive Ha.

Who talked you into this ?

Will you adopt me so I can come ? I’ll wash your bus.

The nearly $100 a ticket per day is the going rate for almost any theme park. Even the space center is in the $50 range. That is why us grandparents are taking the kids now.

Discounted tickets can be had. There are sales outlets in Kissimmee. As an out of stater you can often waste 90 minutes at a vacation timeshare sales pitch for 2 tickets. Many vacation packages at local hotelshotels include free or reduced price tickets.

Just open your wallet and enjoy the excitement of your grandchildren.

The cheapest way out of this is to let the other set of grandparents take the kids to Disney.

Hey Gil if you go to the space center you can get a commanders pass for about 10 bucks more and its good for a year of unlimited visits. Also you get to stop by the great outdoors and see all us lovely people you see here on this site. Be sure to call us if you are coming this way.

    Hi Tom,

We took the grandkids 2 years ago and stayed at Fort Wilderness on the Disney property. Well worth the money for the camp ground. You can get packages if staying on the property where the prices for multi day and multipark tickets are a little cheaper!! For us it was a great trip and we will stay at Fort Wilderness when we go back.

If you were a stock holder Disney had a deal years ago that was about 25% off,I have no idea if it still exist.

Tom, one of the best deals for Disney is not ever advertised. If you were military there is a 4 day park hopper ticket that you can buy up to 6 tickets that are good for a year for something in the $1690 range that is adult ticket grandkids may be less on that deal I just don’t know. Have fun Bill

My wife says that Florida residents get tickets cheaper, so have one of your Florida friends buy the tickets for you.

Yes us military folks get a little bit of a break. Us Florida residents get a bigger break, but there are blackout dates for some resident tickets and it doesn’t really buy you much on one day tickets. With either ticket you have to prove you qualify before you enter the gate. So, it’s not as simple as having a locallocal or veteran buy your tickets.

Doesn’t anyone get sick and tired of having to show proof of who you are before you are allowed to spend your money?

    Disney, Sam’s, airlines, etc?
