Do you perhaps mean NTCS instead of NCTS? I spoke with them in late August to pay for my road hazard warranty.

Chassis damage is a big one. If the coach is newer and has multiplex wiring Prevost is the place to be. If you have lots of money and want air leaks chased, Prevost is very familiar with the pneumatic system, although I see chasing leaks as something owners should do. Alignments are something that Prevost should do.
Everything else like engines, brakes, etc. any qualified shop can handle, in some cases better than Prevost.

Yep, 107 in Vegas yesterday. Only 101 today! The only good thing about being in Minot, ND for most of the summer was the great weather. Santa Ana puts us close to Huntington Beach which we love and staying along PCH 1 in Ventura is super special. Bonus is my Sister lives nearby. Should be a great trip and easy work.

Friends of ours sold their Marathon H and bought this Eagle American Carriage

We sold our 8V92TA Powered 1991 XL a few months back we had owned for 11 years and bought a newer S&S American Coach Revolution to use while we check out and buy our next Prevost. Wifey couldn’t live without a camper while I looked around. Tell you one thing, that old Prevost rode and drove like a Dream compared to this air suspension Revolution. It’s hard to go back to a Class A after having the Prevost Brand even though the cost of keeping a Prevost up is a lot pricier. There is no comparison between the two with these S&S lower line beaters. Hopefully It will make a good trade in when I find the right one.

Would you do it again? Trading Prevost for the Renegade? What did you miss and what did you gain?

Where is the link for signing up for the fuel discount card?
getting ready to hit the road for the next 2 months and will be covering about 8K-10K miles. With diesel where it is at, the discount will come in handy.
thanks
Alex

I would pull it out and replace it. Keep the old one as a spare if you want to take it apart and look at it. This valve is the same as any other valve, internally there is a spool driven by the button you push and pull. When you have it apart you can verify the air signals via your air schematic on the Prevost Website.

Jeff, You are spot on. I agree 100%. I will never sell my bus to meet their demands.

Thanks Don for the good info. I had taken the bus to Prevost in Hayward, and I just assumed, when they did the lube service, they would know about this issue and make sure the calipers weren’t over greased. It may or may not be an over greasing issue, I won’t know until I can get a good look at it. It may be just a coincidence that the caliper locked up just after service. But I had no brake issues before the service. At last inspection, at Prevost, I was told both pads and discs looked good, and as such they did not do a brake service.

Here on PC, type in the search word “pawl” and you’ll find plenty of info about brake mx.
Here is how Meritor says to grease calipers:
a) remove the poppet fitting
b) pump Meritor pt# A1779W283, which is NLGI#1 grease, into the 2 grease fittings until fresh grease comes out the poppet fitting hole.
c) release the pawl on the slack adjuster and adjust or loosen it(lengthen stroke) fully which is about 4 or 5 360 turns of the adjuster. This will force excess grease out of the poppet fitting hole.
d) reinstall the poppet valve/fitting
e) re tighten(shorten stroke) of slack adjuster fully until pads are clamping the rotor, then release the pawl again and loosen/release(lengthen) stroke 1/2 to 3/4 turn.I did mine less than a month ago.
The typical grease monkey knows nothing about the proper methods and materials to use.
