We are booked at the Bella Terra Resort for the Prevost Community No Rally Rally on April 17-20th 2015!
There is a very small chance that we might have a committment that weekend for a friend’s 91st birthday, we’ll know more as it gets closer. Bella Terra has a one week notice for cancelations (sure hope that we don’t have to cancel).

Jeff & Lynn, All the more reason to go to Fla. in Jan. The show at the Tampa Convention Center will consist of most of the good dealers(Panterra, Legacy, Motorhome Exchange, Parliament, Liberty, Millennium, Florida Luxury Coach etc) plus private sellers. You can stop at the rally at Parliament just before in Clearwater(20min from the Convention Center) and meet and talk to a bunch of owners who have all been where you are at one time. It sure beats flying around the country looking at individual coachs only to be disappointed more often than not. Geo.

Thanks for all the replies. I got it going. Not really certain how. I pulled off the out-let line on the pump and it was spitting a little fuel when I was cranking it over. I put in a new fuel/water seperator filter. Tightened everything up. Now all of a sudden I was able to get fuel and bubbles at the bleeding points. Re-bled and she fired right up!
What the heck? I am glad it is running but would like to know why? What did I do?

Hey Dale do the centramatics take the need out of balance or a addition to. Have Bridgestones (balanced and about 10,000 miles)) and smooth as silk but was just wondering.

It is under the Pneumatic, and called “Belt Mini air bag will not come out”. Search for that in the google search bar, and it should come up. I have pictures there. Yes, the one for the clutch fan will be a PITA. Mainly because, the big nut on the bottom of mine was rusted.

I was introduced to (Liberty) Prevosts by a friend 25 years ago. He had had a GMC Jimmy motorhome and a Bluebird. I asked why a Prevost. He said because he could and because there was nothing better. Said both the Jimmy and Bluebird were fine for what they were intended for, but didn’t hold a candle to a Prevost.
As I got closer to being in a position to buy a motorhome I figured that a Prevost would be beyond what I wanted to spend for what I wanted in a motorhome. I started to consider a truck conversion (Peterbilt 379 is the most vehicle on the road) or a plastic coach. Then I stumbled onto a 1982 XL Prevost County Country Coach or Marathon that had been completely updated inside and drive train in 1997. Seller wanted $75,000. It wasn’t something we would have bought for a variety of “we don’t like that bus reasons”, but that coach put me on the Prevost path.
We went to the 2013 POG All Prevost Show in Tampa where we could see 42 Prevost coaches from almost all the converters, talk to the dealers and brokers, and the FSBOs. Then we went to the Florida RV show the same week and met up with George and Corey. We met George through racing a few years before and I didn’t realize he had a Prevost until we met up on POG. They showed us their coach, told us what to look for, what to stay away from, pleaded with us not to make the same mistake they made by starting out in something other than a Prevost.
So our first motorhome is a Prevost. We’re very happy to have made that decision.
I echo what Jon says about the build quality of the Prevost chassis as well as the build quality of the converters. We have a 15 year old coach we bought from an owner. Had Jeff Rowe zero out all the stuff that Jon mentioned. There are a few things that we need to do ourselves consequently have spent time digging around in areas of the coach most people don’t get. I am really impressed with the attention to detail that Liberty has building the coach. Lots of little things that to add up creating a finished product that will last many decades.
Don’t get WOWed over by the new or nearly new plastic (or fiberglass or stick n’ staples or whatever they are called) motorhomes. The decor, the finishes, the upholstery, etc. will all be “current” and start to work on. What is MORE important is for you to look beneath that.
Do that, and I’m sure you’ll make the right decision. And as a result continue to have a very good reason to continue to be on the Forum!

We each have some pamphlets that we leave at places like Parliament, RV parks, etc.
We have gone to FMCA conventions and stuck them under windshield wipers and handed them out to anyone we think might not yet know about PC.
If any member needs some the next time Tom or I meet up with you ask for some.

I’m not contridicting your statements. My comments were about not removing the aux (Marathon installed) air compressor, and it seems you are talking about removing or not removing the Marathon installed air tank.
In my coach with HWH leveling, the Marathon installed air compressor does supply air to the Prevost aux tank when parked – engine stopped. It maintains aux air pressure constantly. The HWH system checks the coach leveling every 30 minutes and makes adjustments as needed. Obviously, without the electric (Marathon installed) compressor, the aux supply would become depleted. The compressor is mandatory (in my coach) for this reason.
In addition, should compressed air be needed in an emergency to up the suspension or release the parking brake, the Marathon compressor makes a nice backup.
Perhaps I misunderstood some of the comments to mean Prevost aux air COMPRESSOR.
However, if the green tank collects a lot of water – that’s a good thing, because it’s stopping that water from getting into the rest of the system. More frequent draining would seem (to me) like a better plan than removing.

Your dash gauges, primary and secondary brake, should have no bearing on your suspension issues. If you have an aux gauge, that is what feeds the suspenson.

I know this is beneath you since I own a CC but if you need to figure out a better way to service a coach, I will bring mine to TN and let you experiment on trying to find a better way and when found you can apply this new found knowledge to your Liberty !!!!!!!

Our web guy has been advised. What will really help is if we can isolate where these problems are occurring. If you have an issue post the device you are using, its software level, your browser, and any other information that will help sort out what is happening.
