Being that this only happens at night I would be interested to see what info the temp sensors are giving the inverters. Also, I always suggest everyone have shore power protection for low AND high line voltage like a surge guard or progressive industries unit WITH a disconnect contractor.

Thanks…Any any all suggestions appreciated. Will repost on this thread when we get it figured out.

What categories were you thinking about other than “maintenance costs”?

#0307. Jeff from ETLC came and took a look yesterday. he thought it started behind the frig and went down. The frig was not plugged in which in my mind points to a varment (mice?) because there is a large open space between the frig and the outer shell and a large wire run is back there. The inverters were not involved and just had water and smoke damage. We may never know. Thanks to everyone for thoughts and prayers.

Don’t think I’d run with valve not full open (inline to cylinders) . Does your belts feel tight. Do you still have belt guards in place?
Also valve in that position it looks like it’s going to dump.

Dick, I assume it is the original equipment on the engine ’98.

Johnathon,
That is a Pretty Bus ! I noticed that the 2 rubber bumper pads have been removed. It is a nice clean look. I had mine off when polishing the bumper and thought about leaving them off. I had such a different finish underneath of mine that I decided to put them back. Your tag line reminds Me of a saying a friend of mine has. ” Just another day in paradise ” I look forward to meeting Y’all as well.
Best wishes and safe travels !

There should be one threaded into each of the exhaust manifolds. If they don’t work they are easy to replace.

Jeff good question. I see that Doug ran the DD which apparently charged the house batteries enough that inverters/chargers would kick.
I can’t remember exactly, but I had Jeff Rowe on the phone for quite a while regarding this and I’d think that if Jeff thought running the DD might get things going, we probably did that and it didn’t work.
I think I might have done that to the batteries a second time, went through bringing the house batteries back from the dead a second time using the 12 volt car charger (I just hope Tom doesn’t read this).
Its not that difficult to do. Return home from a long trip, its late, its raining, it might be sleeting, there might be some snow, you’re in a hurry, you plug the coach into shore power, you neglect to flip the shore power breaker on, for some reason you’d turned off the WatchDog and didn’t turn it back to AutoStart, and you get preoccupied with something else.
Not that I’m not in my first year or 18 months of coach ownership I’ve pretty much trained myself to go to the coach “the morning after” and check everything to make sure the coach is “set” for long term sitting … plugged into shore power, SP breaker on, WatchDog set to “AutoStart”, water pump off, water heater on or off depending on expected outside air temps, aux compressor off, keys out of the ignition, etc.
