    Cripper,

After selling our Country Coach Affinity there was a 3 month gap and we both realized how much fun the RV hobby is.

Going on a hunt finding many buses for sale for a variety of reasons sometimes seemed frustrating.

It has been mentioned by Jon from K town…..when you go aboard the ONE you will know it. Keep looking till you find it.

Boats, had 13 …. going into Prevost bus we never looked back. We own the best.

I use Fleet Charge as well and it is a CAT-EC1 product which is SCA precharged. The life span says 8 years or 150,000 miles. I use it in all our heavy equipment and the few times we have had any engine work done the coolant passages looked really good.

Not sure who carrys it retail, we purchase from our Shell/Kendall distributor in Lakeland Fl. It is actually cheaper to purchase it in predeluted gallons from them. Very happy with this product.

Thank you for the replies so far. I knew my dash light dimmer switch (rheostat) was not working correctly so I unplugged it. Amazingly, all the Sunmulon lights came on, but they are all lit red (they should be amber when lit). If i punch the panel light switch all the red lights go off. If I punch any individual switch to operate the switch the red light also goes off. I have no idea why they are now red? Could a bad reheostat impact the sunmulon panel lights? Also, I assume the rheostat is a 12 v switch?

If it is repaired properly then the accident should be not problem but if that’s the damage I saw it must have been a big branch, maybe the trunk of the tree.

If it is the right bus for you then I hope it works out. Verify everything.

You should already have the round headlights. If so, there really is no upgrade unless you go to HID or brighter bulbs.

Are they just out of adjustment by chance? Mine in my 2008 (06 chassis) are pretty good on both low and high beam. I have no complaints about them.

And the Subaru will have historical significance. Cousin Tony used it to drive Hoffa to the Meadowlands.

IN the interests of safety I would suggest you do not consider a fuel tank for the bus inside the trailer unless you just use it to pump fuel into the bus tank.

Both my previous Liberty coaches had the satnadard tank, 160 and 208 gallons respectively, and each had a 90 gallon auxiliary tank. I enjoyed the extended range because it meant less time in truck stops and the ability to tanker fuel to buy at the least expensive locations.

My current coach has the aux fuel tank location occupied by batteries, probably for weight and balance considerations so the only way I could even begin to contemplate adding capacity would be if I could significantly reduce the weight of batteries and then relocate them such that I continued to remain within limits on all axles as well as side to side. There is a whole lot more to this than just sticking another tank in the coach.

    Robert,

I had to change refrigerators in our 97 Liberty and had to cut the header panel over the opening because the new refrigerator was a little higher. I wanted to remove the header and make the cut on the bench, but to remove it I had to drop a portion of the ceiling.

I don’t know if your ceiling is like mine was, but after speaking to Liberty and understanding how they secure the ceiling it turned out there was no way we would ever consider ceiling removal. Liberty ceilings are not meant to be removed. I am not being critical in this instance because I have seen some coaches whose ceiling panels are held in place with blind panel fasteners such as “christmas trees” or velcro and have fallen.

Are you talking about the little square buttons that are yellow and when you push one it turns green. They turn off and on all the lights and various other things in the coach. (Known as Sunmullion switches)

If this is what you are talking about, you should have an electrical controll box in the first bay that controlls all those switches. Each of the cards in this cabinet have fuses on them, most of them. They are automotive type ATC fuses. Check to see if they are all good.

If you have these and need more help email me.

Stop complaining, the computer is keeping you warm in your rivetless “EGC” coach. (Elmer’s Glue Coach)

And, Jon to rebut your call for us to buy an X-345, we won’t. Aesthetically from a side profile, I don’t care visually for the proportions of the 45 foot coach with a longer wheelbase, with the ” stubby” tail overhang. Our 40 has the same tail-swing, so we’ll keep it until we find the perfect riveted 1998-99 XL45 coach

my thinking is most of the radios today have a continuous 12 volt feed for radio memory, an ignition source for off and on and you have to have a wire connected to the headlights so the radio will dim at night.

I cant seem to find this “accumulator” tank… I saw pics of it in the water bay as well as heard of stories of it under the bathroom vanity. Can’t find a small holding/pressure tank anywhere? Could mine be one of the setup’s with out an accumulator tanks? Where else did liberty put them?

I am thinking the Mach5 is an updated setup and possible the accumulator tank was removed when the previous pump (probably the previous model headhunter pump) was removed? from my reading, seems like the Mach5 doesn’t really need this tank, but some still do run it to handle the low pressure water needs like ice/water in the fridge.
