Thanks to Jon, Tom, and Jeff for a great weekend. A lot of great information was shared. Karen and I made a lot of new friends that we hope to see again soon.

BTW,
As much as I express a concern about Pressure Pro and the sensor lacking a secondary seal I am likely going to have a full set for the bus and the three vehicles I have set up for towing when I replace the bus tires.
Right now I won’t roll the bus out of the garage without a pretty comprehensive pre-trip inspection which includes paying a lot of attention to tires. What I cannot do right now is detect a pressure loss while driving, such as might happen with a nail in the tire picked up while driving. So I have weighed the benefits of my douple seal caps, with the tire pressure reporting of the Pressure Pro and am now leaning towards the PP.
I still have to deal with fitting sensors to the 365 valve stems, and I have to get a valve stem oriented correctly for the outer drive tires. I am even considering valve stem extensions if I can figure how to prevent flexing and loosening, and extension wear. Once the issues I am concerned with are solved I will be good to go.
If Pressure Pro would come out with an internal sensor such as the type that use a band around the inside of the wheel I will be all over it.

Jon,
Didn’t think about putting on the cars too. I’ll need almost a whole bag! LOL!
Thanks for the link.

Funny, that’s the same thing I heard Jon say last time I was at Casa Del Grease Pit when his garage cassette player quit half way through the Best of the Lennon Sisters.

You can go to Harbor Freight and get some suction cups to help pull the glass out. Make sure you pry the gasket away from the glass all the way around. You can also get fiber sticks from Harbor Freight to help pry the glass out. Start in the upper corner put the suction cup on while holding outward pressure use the fiber stick to pry the glass out from the corner. Once you have 12-15 inches out it should go quickly.

I would bet it’s your transmission shift sensor on the CS up by the bell housing. Prevost and Allison have them for around 1500 dollars.
You need to get the bus in the air or raise it some to change. After install they will reprogram it.
This sensor has many symptoms, bucking, slipping and what you describe. hope it’s that easy for you.

Who the hell are we talking to anymore Godfather? Prevost or Volvo?
Bus shells for convertors are probably Volvos highest priced on highway product yet we are the smallest revenue producing product they own. A pimple on their ass. 40 or 50 shells a year.

Tim,
When you go into NAPA present your card. Many part line codes are added all the time.

If two slides and OTR on an XLII is the baseline requirement it does appear that the most coaches that meet that specification will be Liberty. However I am sure there are other conversions that also were produced with OTR and two slides.
For the free advice I am offering today before others jump in, keep in mind good coaches get sold pretty quickly, and the market is very much aware of what represents a good price. Do your homework, look at as many coaches as possible to get a sense of scale, their layouts, and what additional features you seek so if that coach shows up you are ready to pull the trigger without delay.
A couple of years back before the economy strengthened there were “bargains”, but I don’t see them anymore.
