Jon
Maybe after the 8V-92 parade , we can host a parade for all of your auction car purchases in February?
Tim

I’m In. Now if I can just find a baseplate……..
No sweeter sound than an 8V92?
Quite possibly, but a P&W R-985 or a Jake R-755 is in there too.
Remember, “There’s No Sound Around Like A Round Sound”.
You can quote me.
-
I thought the P&W R-985 was the best sounding engine of all time. But Merlin V-12 tops them all.

Tim, You are going to be a serious problem, so we are going to have to vote you off the island.
For those of you that have not yet met Tim Wells, all I can say is when you do be very careful. When the bidding on cars starts he positions himself in front, catches your eye and waves to you. When you wave back you find out you just bought a car.
Very sneaky guy.

We are in, see everybody at the Feb. AutoFest

Sold: 1993 Liberty that we loved for 12 years. -
I am also signed up.
Diane, Gooday mate. You might tell Larry that he will not see much of
you at the show. I heard tell that you
will be holding classes and instructing us Vantare’ neophytes on the idiosyncrasies
of the Vantare’. I was the first to sign
up for your classes. (actually, I am starting that rumor since several of us
are in need of your great store of knowledge on the subject) I also look forward to seeing really big
propellers on airplanes again as well as some autos that are almost as old as I
am. OK, meeting some really great folks is also on my list of expectations3-F

Tim Wells has been a real problem so let’s see if we can return the favor.
He and Bill did an outstanding job providing a parking area for our coaches. As you all can see from the photos we were all together and in close proximity to the Cessna building where we met, ate, were entertained and had access to refreshments.
But since Tim is going out of his way to pick on me I want to return the favor. Let’s make this a 100 to 200 coach rally. If we do this we can watch him pull his hair out trying to figure out how he can accommodate all of us. I know he can do it, but not without having to work his butt off.
Sign up for this rally. I will assure you it will be an event you will completely enjoy. If you have a vintage car and want to sell it, bring it along for the auction or the car corral. If you want to buy a car bring cash. If you just like hanging around with Prevost folks, or have an interest in really neat cars, just come to the rally. Lets make this rally a very big one so Tim is so busy trying to handle 100 or 200 coaches he doesn’t have time to pick on me.
Just kidding about Tim pulling out his hair. He has less than me. In fact he has none. Not kidding about how much fun it will be watching him run around trying to get 100 plus coaches parked.

Dear Jon,
Thank you for all of the kind words!! LOL now that you gave my “trade secret” away about waving to my friends in the auction crowd!! With that being said, I do appreciate that you have volunteered to help Bill 3 park 100 plus coaches! This is a perfect scenario while I will be at the auction waving to Di every chance I get as to fill your garage. You, my friend are way too kind to offer your help with parking!!
Sincerely,
Tim ” The waving auctioneer guy” Wells

Joanne and I are signed up and looking forward to it. I need to remember to sit on my hands during the auction.

Anyone who thinks I could give a seminar on anything must be kidding !!!
I would have to have Ben and or Rick in my back pocket to pull that off !!
So looking forward to meeting new folks and puting more names and faces together !!
Cheers, Diane
-
Diane,
Im sure you could pull off the seminar!! The nice part is that I think Ben could fit it your pocket. LOL. We have already spoke to Ken and he guarantees us that Rick and Ben will be here in full force for the February event. It is always great to have those guys around, they are such a wealth of information.
Jon,
I figured I would let you know that since I am follicley challenged, I am working very hard to get Hairclub for Men as a major sponsor. I figured it would be good for Kit and I both!
Off to meet with the caterer, and I have my notes about the pastry breakfast lacking and also Hot water, Tea, and milk. Any other suggestions, please just let me know.
Cheers!
