  • Looking for a Liberty XLll Dual Slide

Posted by Robert A on October 18, 2015 at 9:14 am

    Hello PC Group,

I’m new to the Prevost community and I’m in search of a 02-06 Liberty XL2 with dual slides. Why Liberty I love there conversion and also majority have OTR and from what I’m told that seems to be the best in warmer climate. I will keep an open mind to other coaches with dual slides and OTR. Also I’m trying to stay under the 400k price and hope to be on the road by The end of May 2016. Thank you for your help now let’s find me a Coach.

    Hi Bob,

Obviously, Liberty is the ONLY way to go. Don’t be fooled by any other brand (Ha Ha). If not for the OTR and Liberty quality, it’s for the rose petal holding tank dispenser (no other brand has it).

    Safe travels,

If two slides and OTR on an XLII is the baseline requirement it does appear that the most coaches that meet that specification will be Liberty. However I am sure there are other conversions that also were produced with OTR and two slides.

For the free advice I am offering today before others jump in, keep in mind good coaches get sold pretty quickly, and the market is very much aware of what represents a good price. Do your homework, look at as many coaches as possible to get a sense of scale, their layouts, and what additional features you seek so if that coach shows up you are ready to pull the trigger without delay.

A couple of years back before the economy strengthened there were “bargains”, but I don’t see them anymore.

    Jon,

That seems to be the story of my life day late and a dollar short. I have waited a long time to get in the position to buy a Prevost and plan on buying the right one the first time. Hopefully 6 months is enough time to find the right one. Being on PC has been very educational I’m not the reader I should be but I have read more on the forum in the last week than I have read in my life it seems. Again thanks for the input.

    Bob,

Welcome to PC, you found the right place and it didn’t cost you anything, yet.:)

Too bad your timeframe is so far out, look at the 2003 Liberty H on our Coaches for Sale, Hish just listed it, but it will be long gone.

Hope you find what you’re looking for, we’ll be glad to help you spend your money..

    Tom,

Not sure what coach you are talking about but if I find the right coach now I’m ready to buy.

    Bob,

I believe Tom was referring to the 2003 LIberty advertised under the “Prevost Coaches for Sale” for $399k.

    2003 Prevost Liberty H3-45 $399,9900
