I found out last week that Brian had left. I was also found him very responsive to questions whether they were posted on this Forum, Facebook, or by direct email.

I hope that Mark is just as responsive. I too hope that American Fleet “gets back on board”. Had it not been for American Fleet advertising on the Prevost Community forum most of us would NOT have known that American Fleet exists nor would we have known that American Fleet focuses Detroit Diesel engines which is very important to all of us! OK … almost all of us.

Can we start again? Diagnosing the causes of level low system issues is reasonably straight forward but to help you we need a complete understanding of what is going on.

You say the front won’t come down. There are two unrelated ways to lower the front so we have to understand if you have tried both, and if so what is happening, or what is not happening.

Are you able to fit that compressor in your xl2?

My compressor failed Today I have a spare like the one you posted I am going to try installing it tomorrow we are in Sacramento CA, if you have any suggestions please post it or email. Thank you. In the morning I will try installing it hope I have space for it.

Mark, as noted it could be a kink or blockage in the line somewhere. Hope so. On mine, the pick-up line for the generator deteriorated inside the tank, causing me to have the problem you are experiencing. It was quite a project to get it replaced due to tank placement on my bus, thankfully covered by warranty.

I am not as “old” as some others, but I do give the young girls a hard time at the grocery store a hard time when they dont ask me for my ID when buying beer. Especially here in Georgia where they are pretty much forced to ask everyone for their ID. Of course it mostly happens when I havent shaven for a couple days and my “gray” is really showing.

On the other hand, GEICO hasn’t been come out and mentioned Im too old and they need to charge me more, so I guess Im good without the movie discount. Which is a good thing since we dont go to the movies, but once a year 🙂 I guess I could be doing worse things when going through my second mid-life crisis then buying a Prevost.

That makes sens to me now… Those switches must be connected with the gages inside my coach???

So in summary, I should run with those switches ”ON” when I drive and the generator will autostart if my voltage goes to low…

There is a pressure relief valve the is attached to the side of the front air filter that has airlines that lead to the accessory tank. It has air pressure on one side of it, but the air filter has no pressure. There is a knob and a compression screw on the top, I would assume it is to adjust the pressure relief point. I am thinking that this may be the issue, but there are other air lines that lead away from it and wonder what would happen if I took it apart. I just wonder whether this is a common part to air systems or if it is Prevost specific? I would like to find it around here in Houston if so.

On my 91 XL had a simular problem. Wouldn’t raise. Can you manually raise it? On mine you could. Raised it and took it in to shop. They (Prevost) said/replaced the ride height valve. All worked after that.
