If you look by the 120v receptacles on gen it should say Bonded or Neutral floating, Did you see the fix for it pretty easy. Plug that plug in to 1 of the receptacles and the other receptacle will be bonded. There is some good videos on that.

Not sure about those routes but you will have a great time in the Black hills. We stayed a week in the area and it was not enough time to see everything.

You should be covered for the shell as you described. Base pole barn or pre-engineered metal building with 6″ concrete slab and exposed screw metal skin. $40 – $45 a SqFt is very good pricing. Rule of thumb mechanical systems and structure are 50% of building costs. Site work has little relationship to the building design and only minor correlation to square footage of building. The barn is 68′ x 88′ (5,984 SqFt), I went a little crazy on the mechanical systems and finishes plus all the site work (well and septic system) round number for everything was around $1milllion (or $165@SqFt). The site work was $250k to $300k of the total. I included (2) 20′ x50′ concrete pads with full hook ups on both sides of the barn for friends when visiting. I hope this helps!
Happy Day!!!

My current house battery set up is as follows.
Two Xantrex Freedom 458 2500w inverters (new 2 years ago)
Four Lifeline GPL 4DL AGM 200 amp hour 12v batteries (older batteries not holding charge for more than 6 hours)
I want to upgrade my house batteries to lithium batteries without replacing the Xantrex inverters since they are working and relatively new.
I know there are some very experienced owners in this community that may have some ideas on how I can make this upgrade. All suggestions are welcome.
My coach is a 1997 Prevost Royale XL45, series 60 DD with a 50DN 12v oil cooled alternator for charging house batteries while driving.
Do I need to be concerned about protecting the alternator while charging lithium batteries while driving?
The lithium batteries I am interested in replacing the AGM batteries are 4 Weize 12v 200 amp hour batteries. Same form size and configuration for drop in replacement. Weize states that my current Xantrex inverters charging protocols for AGM batteries will work with their lithium batteries.
Let’s suppose I drop in these new lithium batteries and do no other changes. Do you expect them to work properly without changing anything else? My main concern is protecting the alternator. Not concerned with keeping the batteries warm. Thoughts, concerns, and suggestions welcome.

Hi if you need to replace the cylinder you can contact American cylinder they have a web site and probably can order it direct. I replaced mine last year and it was not that big of a deal.

I’m neither an electrician nor a metallurgist … but I recall being told some time ago that if you have an opportunity, to replace aluminum with copper. I can’t remember the science. I’d talk to a good electrician who could provide you with a recommendation.

Thanks Art, I did use one heater. And I think it was on an inverter receptacle. I’ll try to do a re-boot when we stop today.

Thanks Pres, I checked all the mounting bolts on the bracket holding the fan, and the radiator. The shroud on the radiator definitely has way more clearance up top than on the bottom. Everything was tight, and had not moved.
I remember a few years ago, John at Prevost jax told me to put a bolt in the fan stop on another coach I had at the time, to keep the fan from leaning over to far, that they had seen a few do that, especially if the belts come off.
I’m going to try a slightly shorter belt, and see what happens.

Here’s what my air bags look like uninstalled. All 8 airbags get set at the same travel height regardless of their dimension empty or full.
The 1 on the left is the mae west 630259, the 2 on the right are the double flare 630104.

Sorry for the late response. The vent is located next to the webasto enclosure. It looks like a copper/brass cylinder 1 1/2 inches in diameter and 3 inches tall. We did not smell anythng in the bus but did smell coolant in the webasto area. I replaced it with a Watts 1/4″ FV – 4M1 rated at150 psi and 240 degrees F.
