Thank you, with everyone’s replies, I was able to track it down to a local O’reilly’s auto parts store under a WIX #33516 cross reference from the FF244.
It says its a fuel filter?? but it looks like it. As stated in the reads, it can be washed? If so, I will try washing that old grungy one to see how it turns out for future options.
Thank you for all the replies, this is a great forum and continue to learn so much from everyone.
BTW, great articles too, I must do that to improve the operation as well as the appearance.

The bus is in the shop for brake work and I thought while it’s there I might have them replace the last two original valves. Forgot about them when the rest were changed. They are readily accessable, so I thought it would be reasonable. Prevost Hayward wants 6 hours labor to replace them, for a labor cost of $1020.00 And $173. for the parts. That just seems like a long time for a professional bus mechanic to take to replace the valves.

I was warned by a locksmith to never use WD40. He claimed they designed it to have a varnish like substance in the mix so it lubricates at first, then it dries out, gets sticky and requires more WD40 to lubricate it. It becomes a never ending cycle.
Don’t know if this is true, but it seams to represent the results I have gotten when using WD40.

Last week through Oklahoma (105 degrees) on the road all day, I saw a max of 125 degrees f. Pressure rose from 110 to about 130.

I have the exact same problem with the fan rheostat – not turning off fully. What is the best way to test it? Is there anyway to clean/repair or just replace?

Since most States require towed braking systems, I would hate to be in an accident with something like this that most folks would assume is being driven by a very wealthy person. Even if you are not at fault the failure to follow the law will make your life unnecessarily painful. I have had braking systems on all of our toads. For a short period I had to tow before I could have the braking system installed and there was a noticeable “push” when stopping compared to a towed with brakes.
I like M&G as it applies proportional braking using the coaches air brakes so little chance of anything locking up. It also adds an emergency breakaway brake that will lock up the brakes should the towed become disconnected.

I don’t believe the DDEC I-III engines had a turbo speed sensor

Good to know! I’m sure I’ll have questions at some point. I don’t expect to get my coach until the end of the year, and Jon has been filling my ears with warnings and advice ;). I am a member of Escapees too and plan on domiciling in TX also.
