Michael, A very nice job. Makes me sad that it is already over, but we’re ready for the next rally in Petoskey. Heck, it’s only 450 miles from home. Closest one yet. I’ll even have the coach washed again. It rained off & on all 1,100 miles home. Even had enough mud on the road through one construction zone to really add to the mess.
Jeff, all worked as planned. No issues.

Thanks for all the feedback. Looks like the only company that will insure people in our situation is Progressive. We will increase our deductible substantially to get the premium down.

Wow…….It was cheap, it probably worked to charge a dead battery, and it was luck the explosion did not occur sooner.

Not sure about that, but it does have a one setting mode where you set the temp and it will either run heat or A/C as needed to maintain that temperature.

Instead of a Sprinter RV, we have considered just a plain short wheelbase Sprinter, medium height, passenger configuration. A driveshaft disconnect is required.
Removing the two back rows of seats leaves the front two seats and the second row seats, along with a huge storage space. It is kind of like having a trailer for “stuff” but still having a toad that is about the same length as a crew cab, short bed 4×4 pickup truck. It would actually be a few inches shorter than our crew cab Ram pickup.
Of course, the passenger Sprinter would not have the RV components (kitchen/bath/bed) if that is what you need in a toad.

In the curbside engine compartment. Can’t take it al apart until the morning, but don’t think anything was damaged other than the acid that pooleed in the pan under the batteries. Doused it with baking soda; will rinse it tomorrow. The pan and the cover saved most everything else, I think

Winnebago is showing the weight (GVRW) of the Sprinter is slightly over 11,000 lbs.

We crossed into Albert from MT earlier today. It went like this.
“I’ll make this short. What’s the plate number on the bus”? I told him.
“Are your carrying any firearms”? I said ‘”no”.
“How many people are in the bus”? I said “two”.
“Where are you going”? I told him.
“Are you leaving anything in Canada”? I said “no”
“Do you have any ……….”? he cited a long list of weapons (note: second weapon request) . “If you do you need to tell me now”
I said “no”.

We’ve crossed into Canada many times for many years and have never had a problem. Look ’em straight in the eye, no sunglasses, and never lie.

NO, NO, NO….not the output side…that would mean the pressure regulator would be out of the system and the toilet would be receiving full air pressure. I would remove the input line from the regulator and cap and install your temporary air source into the regulator input. BTW, do not tee into the input line…it may backfeed your temp air source to your leak.

If you have a Microphor toilet it is air operated to flush. No way around it I know of.
If you open your yellow valve in the front run box to join Prevost aux air and Marathon aux air will your belt driven engine compressor keep up with the leak?
Have you checked your air lines on the aux tank? Maybe you have a whole in the bottom of the tank?
