You might be OK but how many miles between service intervals are you talking about? I actually would be less concerned about an oil change than I would about the lube which Prevost calls for at 6200 mile intervals and the opportunity for someone to at least get under it to check for the condition of everything including hub seal leaks, other leaks, drain the air tanks, look at shock and sway bar bushings, etc.
Our buses are pretty robust, will take some abuse, but they do need some attention.

Went to the telephone store yesterday. I look at the kid and say, “My telephone bill is five dollars high this month, can you tell me what is going on?” he says, “Let me see your bill.” So I say, “they don’t send me a bill, they do it all electronically.” Much like two star crossed lovers, leaving footprints in the sand, we walk over to the computer and I give him all of my identification and the name of my first born male child. He keys up the computer.
We are off and running.
He says to me “Here it is. You had 12 photographs at .50 cent each.” Now as our kid is really proud of his kids, and sends pictures of the youngest standing next to a trash can all of the time, that would explain it. But months ago, I had this feature disabled on my phone (along with text messaging at the same time). I am not supposed to get photo’s or text, I am just supposed to get telephone calls for new storm windows, carports, septic tank pumping, stuff like that.
I tell him this, the nice kid, who still has lipstick on his cheek where his mother kissed him good-bye this morning. He offers me nothing. So I say to him, “I never got any pictures, this has to be a mistake.” He says, “Let me see your phone” and he looks for the pictures that I received that are clearly not there, and this shrugs his shoulders and says, “Must be some kind of glitch.”
He removes the charge and gives me a credit, which doesn’t really put anything back in my bank account, so we may or may not be done with this issue, I am not sure. So then I ask him, “How about these junk telephone calls, am I being charged for them?” and he says, “No.”
I ask him, “so I am not charged for them even if they leave a message on my voice mail?” He says, “Oh that is different. If you open your voice mail and listen to the message, then you are charged for the call.”
Hmmmmm, “this means, that I am damned if I do and damned if I don’t, wouldn’t you say?” He smiles, and says … “Yes sir. That is about it.”
In other words ….They got you by the … Well Y’know.
Nice kid, most likely will be some kind of politician one of these days. Perhaps I can hire him to “teach me all about my new Smart Phone, that SamSung sold me without any printed instructions.”

Yea that “trading in thing” is not one of my options right now plus that warranty means I got to get it to them every time i got a problem ! I figure investing @$35K in interior/exterior upgrades is cheaper than trading for a new set of problems! If one can get to the point of knowing your Bus and able to work on certain aspects of it (and enjoy it to a point) then you know what you got. Talked to a new 2013 Bus owner last year who had a list of 28 items to fix after 2 months ownership and had to drive back to florida for repairs.He wasn`t happy since he could`nt get it done local or them send someone to him.Price of ownership!

Regretably, Charlie, that is not it. No loose wires (and, unfortunately, not even a #34 in the bundle there!]. I think this is going to be a Country Coach PC board issue…

I am curious what the outside ambient temperature was the night you observed this situation.
The only time the inverters normally will charge at a bulk/float voltage higher than 28.6/26.6vdc is if outside ambient temp (they see from the battery temp sensors located on the batteries over the drive and tag axle wheel wells) is below the mean temperature of 70-deg. The colder, the higher the bulk and float voltages, just the opposite of when the temperature is greater than 70-degrees, the temp compensated charging is lower than the actual battery voltage of 28.6/26.6vdc respectively.Just a thought.

Sounds like experience talking,,,,,,, thanks, If I decide to tackle removal I will use extreme care. The frames look like they would be expensive to replace if they got bent or deformed.
