Hey gang, Relion has really stepped up with show pricing, so if you’re on the fence about Lifepo4, contact me for pricing. I can’t advertise the price.

I was hoping if you bought them at the show Tom would install for free and give you 100 each for the old batteries… Is he not doing this this year?

Chuck, I don’t know if turning the dryer drum will help prevent a flat spot but it can’t hurt.
I am only guessing that in time a flat spot develops. I am positive that when the wheel comes apart it will piss off the person in charge of laundry and likely the person responsible for it’s replacement as well.

    Marshall,

Don’t limit your thinking. If you can work out some of the details such as how to keep out squatters who just want to sit on the pad, I think you have the potential to have a franchise or at the very least a national chain of well placed overnight parks.

    Buyer beware of Frigidaire refrigerators

When I arrived to pick my coach up after having service work done at ETLC, I discovered the original Amana refrigerator had finally quite working. Jeff was already finished working on my coach but made time to install a new fridge for us. I was short on time so I purchased the first fridge I could find that would fit (Frigidaire model LFHD2251TF4). Jeff’s team did a great job getting the old one out and the new one in.

In just a short period of use I noticed the fridge ran almost all the time. Upon a Google search I quickly found out that the Frigidaire refrigerators (specifically my model) had numerous consumer complaints about fridge running constantly and not cooling well. Supposedly the compressor running is due to new multi stage compressors. Consumers also complained about poor insulation.

What I can tell you is: fridge went from 36 deg to 60 deg with in 10 hours of being turned off when the coach was inside a garage with 65 deg air temp & compressor runs almost all the time and defiantly draws hard on the battery’s when dry camping. Guess I will learn to live with it, to much $ to change at this point.

I haven’t had a relay problem, but understand that there are heavy duty 12v 200 amp relays designed for electric forklift use that are good for replacement and hold up very well.

I pulled the plug on Direct TV and gladly paid the $400 early cancellation fee. My life was shortened dealing with the various “Brians” and “Matthews” at Direct TV while trying to get service issues addressed. It’s streaming or over the air antennae for me from now on. Worst case scenario I can read a book. LOL

What is on that circuit? Why is it 200 amps? Is this a “jump start” solenoid/relay? If so It needs to be heavy duty I guess. I don’t let my chassis and/or house batteries get low. But anything can happen I guess.

Ceiling lights are about the only thing that are on that circuit in my 12v Liberty. It’s one of first things I replace as preventative mx when I buy a MH. Every MH I’ve ever had had a switch near the cabin door that activated a solenoid/relay for the interior lights. It fails with use. The longer and more current/amps/heat it receives, the sooner they fail.

Any brand will get hot. It just depends how much & long current/amps is passing thru it. I’ve installed LED bulbs in all my ceiling lights, so not much current passes thru it now, so it doesn’t get as hot, and it last longer. You could even install a lower amp rated unit in such a case.

12v ??? amp continuous duty solenoids/relays are plentiful on amazon & ebay. Take your pick.

Over the yrs, I’ve heard of owners that have “jumpered it with a wire and alligator clips”, instead of dealing with this solenoid/relay.
