Insurance premiums are based on so many factors it is impossible to compare premiums. The state in which it is based (which is in part a measure of risk), if it is in a secure facility or outdoors, if it is used more than XXX months annually, annual mileage, the driver’s driving record, the state insurance rules (which mandate coverages), and the phases of the moon or planets.
To add to the confusion bundling bus insurance with home, cars, or an umbrella is usually the result of the owner beating up the agent to get the company to step up to protect the agent’s premiums for the other stuff. I can guarantee an insurance company that lacks the expertise specific to a Prevost conversion is going to not cover the cost of repairs without a fight because the cost to fix a damaged coach and interior isn’t close to what it is for a conventional RV. Compare how a typical RV is built and equipped to understand why a Prevost conversion insurance premium is so high compared to the typical RV. Buying cheap insurance from an uninformed insurance company is false security.
Having said that however there are a ton of owners who have been doing it for years and dodged bullets.

Sorry but there is NO way $1800 covers “agreed value” for $599,000 value bus total loss. . If that was th3 case WE all should move to TN. We have “agreed value” per our “purchase price” in 2019 of $150,000 for our 1999 shell 2001 Featherlite 45 Vogue dbl slide with yearly premium of $6,800. As i have said before, one single word describes why our insurance rates are above the ceiling…….HAIL!!! It doesnt matter is bus is parked indoor in climatized barn in Colorado, and spends 6 months in Indio
Agreed Value based on purchase price or an appraisal
“Actual cash price” is based on what market cost to replace bus is “Always cheaper” than “Agreed Value”

Marshall,
I’m now with State Farm as well and they had no Agreed Value option. Are you certain it’s not ACV?

Yep..that is what I have. Renegade did have to replace it as it failed almost right away after delivery, but it is working fine now.

Good information. Great that you tackled the job at hand; and won!!

The SIM card in my router has gone bad and my 3rd party source is non-responsive. Who is everyone using for unlimited, non-throttled data on an AT&T SIM card these days? My router is configured for AT&T so my preference is to keep using them. Thanks is advance for the help.

I have the Doubler and it works great with the bus compressor. I carry a small portable compressor to use when I don’t want to crank the engine.
the guy that wants to leave the campground at 5:00am and has a low tire trying to inflate his tires with the engine running is one of my favorite individuals. -

My coach is the same vintage as yours, when I bought it the Marathon aux compressor would run every 45 minutes. (Not Al’s fault Bernie, the dude that owned it between us had no idea what he was doing) After many, many, hours of leak hunting it runs maybe every 72 hours. I suck at typing so give me a call at 402 658 9437, i can walk you through all the leak sources and fixes.

I’d suspect it to be case negative. Easiest way to avoid mismatch might be to order both types.

Thanks for the replies, I am going to mount a fan as pictured and pipe it through the floor with a incoming filtered draw hole. What is the current wrapping used for flex exhaust piping?
