When owners think they are getting a deal by buying insurance from County Farm Insurance sold to them by a golf buddy, who also sells them car and homeowners insurance it is going to be an impossible task trying to convince them that ACV insurance is going to bite them in the ass, until it does.

If we are unable to get owners to recognize how good a fuel discount program is (I saved $1.12 per gallon last refueling) we are never going to get the needed participation in a group insurance program.

I am attempting to find the loss ratio for professionally converted Prevost coaches, but it is as hard as trying to get the insurance companies to tell you what they determine is ACV before you have a claim.

I second what Moisheh said. That is awesome. Now if only Mcdonald’s, Whataburger, Long John Silver’s, Church’s Chicken and Schlotzky’s would do the same, 95% of my food needs would be covered. Might add Taco Bell also. Yep – I’m a gourmet.

I was fine with ACV policy as I didn’t want to pay the agreed value premium. Considered liability only (no lien) however living in OK when storm season arrives – it is comforting to know I at least have some coverage that is arguable on value, same goes for fire or theft. So my main concerns other than liability probably fall under comprehensive.

we just left Outdoir Outdoor Resorts Indio Indio on March 18. Because of the forecast we didn’t take our shortest route, indio, Las Vegas, grand junction to Denver.

Alternately, we brought the bus home early from CA via Phoenix, Flagstaff, Albuquerque, to Denver

travel traffic was lighter but normal what we see on the 10. Interstate 40 the usual heavy truck traffic. I-25 thru N New Mexico traffic normal. We saw a usual RV traffic and into Colorado interstate 25 had usual sparse traffic due to small towns and population. We had to stop every 360 mikes to fuel our sprinter commuter vehicle we use every two weeks during winter as we leave the bus on our lot in CA. We did stop to top off the bus in Trinidad, CO yesterday late afternoon, ve with forecasted snowstorm the bus will sit outside until we free space up in RV bay currently crowded with winter project Normal truck and RV travel at truckstops albeit employees were out wiping pump handles and keyboards down while wearing gloves.

We left March 13 to head down to indio for our two weeks, but decided last week on the way down, our asset, the bus, needed to be home for piece of mind

Our resort is full functioning as a place to park your coach. But taking no arrivals or reservations. However, as of Monday this week, all activities canceled, office, will remain open but no entry for visitors at this time

With the bus, we stayed isolated from other people.The last week worth of days we ate all meals on our lot. Using the Fuel Programs available to us from PC, our social interaction with those around us was extremely limited-a good thing. So for our complete self containment we feel Bus travel a safer mode. BTW, our Wednesday night overnight spot was Gallup NM Wal Mart. Busy store, and we counted 53 RVs in the parking lot.

I wanted to report that I with this thread was able to purchase and install the door latch . And let me tell you I’m not the most handy guy , however when the latch broke into 2 parts i was left with no option . So 34 dollars from Amazon along with some new door weather striping and all is well .

Just remove the screw holding the black retainer

remove silicone holding door bell and with a little patience she slides out . Clean area , reinstall retainer clip . A little patience needed here to align and all is well for another 21 years I guess .

Jon: We arrived in Fredricksburg on Tuesday without a check engine light. I now suspect the problem occurred on the trip from New Braunfels to Fredericksburg, there was enough coolant to get parked in Fredericksburg, and then while we were in Fredericksburg the coolant went drip, drip, drip into the gravel. The first two gallons Friday morning weren’t enough to get to the CEL probe, let alone to the sight glass. Three more gallons got me to about 40% of the sight glass. Then we headed to Kerrville about 32 miles away (I was just about finished with an update on my own thread when I musta timed out and got kicked out. Back to the keyboard.)

I just installed 8 4D AGMs on my 1998 Featherlight and really keeping an eye on how many hours I get on my coach without auto start gettng the generator going.

Batteries were fully charged from shore at my home

Drove 7 hours to a walmart

Turned of engine and went to invertor power – 5 pm – Battery actual was 25.3

Used coach with fridge, light, misc items like coffee pot, TVs, water pump, Aqua hot and other misc

Now it is 8 am (15 hours later) and battery actual is at 24.5. My auto start kicks on at 22.2 so I a far from that

In a couple of days, I am going to need AC so I am curious how long I get with ACs going.

Would love to hear from others on their experience.

Don’t know about the Montana deal but Purchased a one owner coach here in Texas. I bit the bullet when I bought it years ago and registered it in Texas. Paid cash for the coach and the tax was a killer when i went down to change into my name. License plates are another $534 a year but that does include personnel plates.

My 02 Marathon H was 12′ 10″ with cruiseairs. My 04 Marathon H with roof airs was 13′ 4″.

It may be the VPOD or the turbo speed sensor. To know for sure check for codes. If the VPOD is the bad guy there should be a code for turbo vanes not responding or something similar. If the turbo speed sensor is the issue it will not throw a code. The best way to catch it is to watch the live data while driving and when it occurs hit the save screen shot button then look at the data and see what the turbo speed sensor is showing for RPMs. If it suddenly drops to 0 the speed sensor is most likely the issue. This is using the DDA program.

Your basements lights are powered by the 12v Prevost side, chassis batterys. I would check the relays in the front run box under your seat.

A couple guys on here with 07’s will chime in. It should be simple but I’m drawing a blank.

If in doubt buy two, have one as a spare and if the first one pukes you can use it until you get one that works. Still cheaper that way.
