Creaking & Moaning front end Passengers side
Just had front end redone approx 3,000 miles ago (everything replaced except lower A arms). Traveling from Fl to Western MA, front end starts making creaking & moaning sounds from the passengers side ever time we go over a large bridge joint or a large rut in the road. Turned the front wheels left to right (while moving slowly) and inspected all front end parts as best as possible. Do not see anything rubbing, no signs of metal to metal contact, not loose nuts or bolts visible, no broken or bent parts visible. Bushings on new dog bone do seam to be pushing out a bit (See Attached Picture).
Additional info: Creaking & Moaning seams to happen only at highway speeds, only on straightaways or on clockwise cures (not on counter clockwise curves) – Topped off tank with 150 gal and Creaking & Moaning stopped – Down to 3/4 tank of fuel no noise, dumped gray & black tanks (approx 80 gal) Creaking & Moaning started again.
In western Massachusetts with family (Long way from any bus service) and now we have a constant squeaking in the front end at all times (high speeds, low speeds, curves or straightaways.)
What now?
