Had a funny thing happen yesterday while working on a 09 Country Coach on the Aqua Hot, customer was having a smoking problem with his Aqua Hot so I did a test fire on it and it did not fire but sputtered, so I pulled out burner and found a few things wrong cleaned it up set fuel pressure new nozzle tested it my service trailer on a Webasto fired it up ran perfect. Reinstalled burner in the unit fired it up seamed good went to other side and the exhaust pipe looked like an old coal burning train engine solid black smoke, felt exhaust and hardly any air coming out just black smoke puffing out. Pulled out burner again and we put a heavy duty shop vacuum on the end of the exhaust pipe and I started hitting exhaust pipe under coach and we sucked out more then 200 corns off oak trees like little torpeados then reinstalled burner and all is good.

Interesting Art. I still have a smoke issue after much money thrown at parts . My question to you is must the burner be removed or could I just vacuum it out as you did ?

That little critter would have his work cut out to get this exhaust packed tight.
You know there is more going on here besides exhaust coming out ?

My Aqua Hot is running fine but I don’t even want to think about trying to service the burn chamber. I will have to remove all the house batteries (8) or enlist the help of Gumby. So buried I can’t figure out how to get in there. Maybe yours is a little more accessible?

I’m fairly certain the car pictured is owned by a politician and the devices on the rear are not for engine exhaust, but to release all the hot air from said politician.

I had a similar problem with black walnuts and squirrels. I thought I had them all removed from the coach until Al at ETLC serviced the Webasto and found more.

Connect a shop vac to exhaust and start tapping on exhaust pipe with a hammer

Doug , Surprised the 2 years separation of the same Manufacture changes that location . Mine is easy to access but the batteries , they are not . Thankfully mine are only a year old . I will be sure to use a shop vac when we return to Fla next week and give this a try . Thanks for posting the issue .

So far this week I am wondering if I should change the hoses to my washing machine, and vacuum my nuts.
Is it because I have been hanging with Tom, or is the forum starting to get to me?
