Just far enough to do a lot of expensive damage…
A few years ago we had a guy fill the diesel tank with DEF on a Mercedes van. He got far enough to cause $13K+ in repairs.

Thank you for the advice yes I agree I need an experienced driver with RVs that has been on the road for several years and it’s very important to have a back up driver

Hi Bill,
No I have not seen or heard about it for trucks. Too expensive until someone builds a cheaper mousetrap. It’s been around a couple years but the rona virus stalled it.
I’m not a fan of any camera driver aids. We were taught and preached to others to scan mirrors every 3 seconds with continuous eye movement for many reasons. Always know what’s around you so you had an out.
I don’t know if this screen is on 1 pillar with 2 views or 1 on each side. What I do like is blind spot view because people do not check mirrors enough and that eliminates that but it’s also a tool to let drivers be lazy.
This is another item they come out with that an experienced driver might like this but we say it on here so many times that it would not be something I would want a new guy to learn with. I’m a firm believer you have to learn the old school way before you start with the gadgets.

Mike I saw this post from earlier this year. I have a 99 Royale with the same issue. Again. I replaced the 3 port Norgren valve last time and it fixed it. The problem has resurfaced after a few months and was wondering if it could be the 5 port Norgren now. Did you replace it? Was it forward of the front axle on the bulk head? Please let me know if not too much trouble. Thanks

We did some work on Willy Nelson’s Prevost. I think it was a ’98 and we did the work in ’03 I believe. The bus had over 800,000 miles on it and was going strong. That bus is still on the road (saw picture from about 6 months ago) and being used by Willie’s son Lucas so it must be in the 2,000,000 mile range. I suspect there have been many repairs and replacements but it’s still on the road and still a great place to live and travel.

My bus is similar to this situation, I replaced all my shocks last month, pull the nuts off, and push the bottom out and pull the top of the shock towards you. there should be enough room to wiggle it off.

When you order the Group 31 batteries ask NAPA counter man to order you the batteries with all the same manufacture date code. If get push back speak to store manager.

I think you’re right about needing to replace the whole stack in the near future or at least taken apart and cleaned. But for now I switched all the coils over to 24v and everything seems to be working. I need to find the drains, i didn’t know about them. Thanks for all your help!

The studs and lug nuts make the most interesting sound as they shred your left rear fender.

You have the standard level low, unless modified. Very simple, the rotary switch selects front, left, right and drive. Then you have a button for up and down. The front position raises and lowers both front air bags. The left/right raises and lowers the particular side selected and all 3 air bags on that side raise or lowers. The drive position is selected for driving and road height is then controlled by the ride height valves automatically.
