No way i would move my Bus after finding out the Shop made a mistake like that. They would have to come out to me on the side of the road and make it roadworthy again. There are too many things that could happen to make this problem worse by trying to drive it.

Yikes, what have I done…. Oh I remember now, 24 months of ownership, 14,000 miles and my repair cost was a whopping $00.

Just a thought can you take the brake chamber off and plug air line ,then put any tire and rim on and tag axle and drive it to shop ,I don’t think any harm if tire size is different, bag should expand to hold weight.

The only reason I still talk to Tom is I continue to beg for dues money.
After he bought his truck the only thing I said at the time, after patting him on the head a few times was “Poor boy, look what you have just done.”

That is a nice story Bernie, I’m a sucker for nice stories.
Here’s a nice one: Tom finally paid me all the dues money he owes me.
I made that one up.

Thanks Jon. I will check and report back

Thank you for quick feedback…
Just need to use this to adjust tires pressure within 2 – 6 PSI when / if needed.

Think it’s a unwritten rule that you can’t start a trip with a dirty coach

I have seen it back-up south bound but not as bad or as often.

Mike:
Be ready to spend some $. I bought a cheaper $380 one and immediately sent it back. I could hear air leaks with my ears better than the darn thing could detect.
I have seen post in the past that warn the cheaper ones are useless.

We owned this 2 coaches back a 1980 Prevost Liberty it is 96 inches wide 40 ft long Detroit 8V 71 engine 4 speed Allison she was a good bus kinda slow 8v 71 did not have a lot of HP, Bottom Pic before the 1980 Liberty she was a 1948 GM Silver sides Gray Hound bus it had a 6 cylinder Detroit 2 stroke diesel, can’t remember the cubic inch, had a manual 4 speed on the column (4 on the tree) had to double clutch trans, I was never very good at it going up hills shifting was tuff. Me and my brother owned her. I did some up grades did not have spring brakes for parking just a big pull lever to a drum at trans, it was scary added spring brakes much better. If I can find more pictures of the 48 I will post them, if I can find some old pictures, it was way before cell phones so didn’t have a camera close,I have more old pictures of her when my Dad and Mom owned her, Later they painted the Wile E Coyote over the gray Hound.

Replaced the protector boot that keeps dirt out of the steering bay.

I know you have asked quite a few questions about H3’s and X3’s. There is a good comparison on the latest Marathon Monday with Mal.
