Corey & George….
ActuallyI haven’t had much energy lately due to a few health issues… but anything that’s not right drives me nuts and once I get started with the right help I am really good at giving orders so with the help of a good mechanic and a good elecctrician ( they work for us full time) and my instructions things normally go pretty well as long as I get good info for them and with the PC forum how could I NOT have the best help ??? Now I know you can see me sitting right in front of the project giving orders !! Thank God my guys like me & I treat them very well !!
I thank PC and members everyday for making these things a reality !!!
Cheers… Diane

If there was functionality on the PC forum to “Like” something similiar to what you can do on Facebook, I would “Like” Buddy’s post.

Roger,
My 01 Liberty had the inverter compartment and entertainment center cooling fans hard wired to the inverters. You could not shut them off unless you killed the inverters and they ran 24/7. I installed thermostats, but Jon is going to have a different take on this. Either way, they run all the time with no way to remove power to the fans unless you install a thermostat.
Jeff is the expert, so he’ll jump in here I’m sure.

Hi Joe, I just had the same problem with our 99 Marathon. I also switched all my lights out to led’s, and to answer your question, yes the lights are wired together. My positive wire had also come off and i could not find it from the outside at first. It was on the roadside of the coach midway down the side of the bus, over the bus air bay. After taking part of the A/C duct apart we found the wire running inside the duct work, after reconnecting the wire everything worked. The turn signal is on top and the running light on the bottom, the running light has a pig tail from the top light (signal) light and both have a power wire and a ground wire that uses one of the screws that attach the lights to the coach. New led’s look great and are much brighter. Hope this helps.

RV Spots are selling out quicker and quicker for the Vintage Festival. Estimated numbers were 65,000 people this year. The place was packed and it keeps getting better each year.

I stay off the toll roads whenever possible, and just pay at the cash box when I have to use one. It isn’t worth the hassle to me of getting one of the transponders. I refuse to pay those crooks if I can avoid it.

If buying a new shell I would make sure it has the D13C Volvo engine not the A they were a nightmare and like any common rail engine they eat injectors in trucks and buses are harder on engines than trucks
I did see on H model in Phoenix with 50,000 miles Volvo was replacing the engine and there are several class action suits going on with Volvo and truckers about problems with the older D13 time will tell if they last or not
I heard they are being built here in the USA now

I dragged that off of the X-12 site. and tried to drop it on this post. Instead I just got the photo on a new page so I right clicked and copied it and used Control V to copy it to this post.
I am not computer savvy, but It seems I can do what I need to do to paste stuff on the fourm.

I put a cable switch that has two “IN’s” and one “OUT”. I feed the “IN’s” with roof top off the air antenna and campground cable. Then feed the TV directly from the “OUT” on the switch. I then use whichever input gets the most channels.
On a slightly related note, I have LED TV’s in the front and rear of the bus. They are differnet make and models and for whatever reason they do not tune in the same number of channels. The newest TV is in the front and always finds more digital and analog stations when I do a search.
