I had a 1997 Liberty for 3 years and never was able to open the safe. I did not receive the combination, the previous owner didn’t have it, and the Manufacturer of the safe has apparently gone out of business. It was time to take out the drill, but I didn’t do that before I sold the coach. Who knows what was in that box???

If it is a standard combination;

top dead center is the “open” mark.

sequence of turns is left right left right,

number of turns is ;4-3-2-1-

4 left 1st # and stop exactly on the number.

3right 2nd number(counting each time the number passes the mark is a turn)

2 left to 3rd number.

then turn right slowly till the dial stops turning( you will feel a slight click, then the dial will stop firmly.

FWIW, the standard safe combination for standard tumbler lock is 50-25-50-0. Any reputable locksmith will know exactly were to drill a hole. In the hole they will insert a punch and hit it very hard with a sledge hammer. This bends the locking cam away from the actual lock.

Are there any “logos” or symbles in the center of the dial? Might help determine what brand of combination.

Is it a round door in a cylindrical body? or a square or retangle door with hinges.

Is the dial “spring loaded”( can you depress it ?)

I was in the safe business for years but do not know what brand/or brands the converters used.

conceal-a-safe huntington Beach California with the words basinc on bottom of dial. It is a square safe with a round dial, and the dial has 2 white lines about an inch apart the dial is not spring loaded

Well that did not ring the bell I hoped it would.

I thought I might reconize the combo-mfg.

Besides the open procedure I gave above, some

(3 wheel) combo just turn 3-2-1 like a padlock.

was the combination you recieved on some form or just a note?

yes the combination was in the owners electric manual tiped in the front page.tried different sequences with the 2 white marks on the lower safe dial, but would not open, will send a picture of it later

sorry I still can not tell what brand of combination, looks like a “private Lable” style dial.

I can say for sure the “top” (right) mark is the mark to use for opening.

The other mark is for changing the combination numbers.

I would have thought the orginal turn sequence would have worked.

Might call the mfg to sak what the turn sequence is.
