Thanks for the info. I found a similar shop in Tucson, AZ and they did our couch, the passenger seat and my recliner. They did excellent work! I am now a huge fan of microfiber materials as the cats cannot ruin this stuff!
I may be headed that way again in a few months and I will see if they can do the drivers seat and make it look like yours.

Geeze, don’t use the repairs shop comparison! Have you ever driven by a Prevost facility and looked at how many buses are there or how long in advance you need to call to get a service appointment?

I’m a car nut so I knew more about the Bentley than the sales girl (sales manager). They are actually simple machines, just very powerful.
You know, I was a little surprised that the salesman didn’t know exactly every button and the operation of every option. But, he was very nice and sometimes things just happen. The fact is, a Prevost is a high quality coach.

The boards were tongue & groove and were glued in. They purchased additional wood and stained it to match for all of the bull nose in the front and along the dinette. I’m not sure you can see from the pictures, but they flooring under the dinette is exactly lined up to the rest of the flooring when the slide is out. I’m (Cathy) a math and science teacher, but I don’t even want to consider the geometry involved with that! 🙂

If you are utilizing a “30-amp” plug, which is 120volts ONLY, the 30-amps is split and fed to each outside lug of the plug, and that single breaker feeds both “legs” of power in your breaker panel; thus, the “Set Shore Cord Size” on each inverter must be set to less than 15-amps per inverter.
Red button on far left of Inverter panel takes you to “Set Inverter: Off, Search, On, Chrg”
Hitting the far left black button, Menu Items Down button, the screen then displays “Set Shore Cord size XXamps”
Utilizing the Setpoints up and down buttons increases or decreases the number value displayed.I usually would suggest setting these each at 12-13 amps on each inverter for a 30-amp shore outlet.
Adjusting the Max Charge Amps in the Setup Menu # 10 is not necessary. That value on each inverter should be left at the default of “15 amps.” The inverter will automatically decrease charging rate as the combined current draw from the charger and down-stream loads on that leg approach the “shore cord size” setting for amp limit.

Too much oil usually ends up making a mess. I suspect, but do not know for sure, that if the oil blocks the little pin hole in the plug (that allows the hub to breathe) it could pop the plug or push out the seal.

Yes, the vent should be blocked normally. The fact you have a hose means your 99 is different tan my 97 and my 06. Go figure.
As Paul points out blocking the intake vent recirculates the air. Opening the intake brings in fresh air which would be OK except with diesel odors and dust and dirt off the highway that would get the inside of the coach pretty dirty. But for pressurizing the coach temporarily opening the flow path is an easy way to do it.

So you’re saying the vent in the door and the hose are to admit fresh air into the system and are normally closed.
If I understand, the hose is blocked off by a plate and/or shutter at the vent (door) end of the hose?

What Al cautions against is what I can concur with as well; do not fill to the second line, but to the midpoint at most, or you are asking for a problem. ATF is incorrect, use gear lube as the others have pointed out. My two cents.

So both hubs should be filled with oil? The tag hub is not the grease type?
We are about to go on a 1000 mi trip. Glad I checked the hubs.

I don’t think you can suck it out because I believe the bearing and the nut and safety washers are all going to block access to the low point on the hub. If you don’t have the hub covers with the drain plug it is just as easy to pop the 6 screws out, remove the hub cover and let it run down your wheels onto the tires.
Just kidding about that. You can catch it if you pull the wheel, If that is not possible then you will have to sop up the mess or make a trough.you can hold under the hub cover to drain it away from the wheel and into a pan.
I would use the 85/140 or the nearest equivalent since at least half of the driving is expected to be in warmer weather. When you get it refilled and all back together just make sure the tiny pin hole in the rubber plug is open so the hub can breathe. With the thicker lube it take a while to drain past the bearings so be patient.

I hope to get some data on my new site in the near future. Really not going to run it as a business, but more of a service to my previous customers a referral customers. Hate not to offer technology that could help protect RV owners.
This has sort of become an obsession for me. We developed a second generation system for a customer that wanted to market it to the industrail truck market. I am now working with a university on the possible development of a third generation system that could talk to the CAN systems in the advanced coaches. How’s that for being out of the business and being retired {grin}.
