Hi guys, If there is a way to get to the bulb I didn’t see it. However, I did not take the switch off the plate. I went ahead and ordered the switch from Prevost. After I take the switch off the plate to install the new one I’ll look more closely to see if the bulb is replaceable. If it is great, nothing wrong with having an extra switch when the bus has four of them.

Trust me when I say this. As someone who has done a conversion before if the foundation for your coach is a professionally converted older coach you can get all the same feelings of accomplishment working on it to make it your own, but at least you are not starting with a beat to death seated coach. In addition to not having to start from the wheels up, you also have all the pieces and parts to make a conversion. You can tear it all apart and reassemble it using your own floor plan and designing your own systems, with all the important and expensive stuff already on the coach.
I don’t know your level of expertise, your financial situation, your time schedule, or your expectations for the end result, but with a professional conversion you will see the depth of knowledge and attention to detail rarely matched by folks doing their own conversions. It becomes a homebuilder’s textbook on how to do a conversion.

Jon: I agree with your comments. This will be my third conversion if I can fine the right bus. Condition is important and I want a rust free chassis. On my last conversion, a 1974 MCI MC5B, I spent a lot of time upgrading the drive train and repairing rust damage. Air bags, shocks, air lines, link bushings, changed out the standard transmission to a Allison MT644 etc. The engine was and is in very good condition. I then started the conversion with a 8 inch roof raise, rv windows, hot spray insulation etc.
Non of this made any sense economically but I enjoy the build process. I spent all of my professional career at a desk or visiting job sites so this is now my hobby and it keeps me active and the conversion process is a challenge. I enjoy all aspects of the process: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, wood work etc. I have a shop to work in and all the required tools.

once upon a time I had a Liberty that the high idle failed. It turned out to be the throttle position sensor. Fairly easy fix after you get the new one. Have you tried to accelerate with the foot pedal? Good Luck.

I was on the phone with Xantrex for a long time late this afternoon to early evening. I am getting 12.6V from the batteries. I am not getting anything from the batteries to the inverter. Isolated, at least for today, a 250 bus bar, does not look like a breaker to me, that is bad. She had me test both legs and said that Spears to an issue.
I am in no way qualified to be changing that 250 bus bar out. What really said to let someone qualified do it. It will have to wait until I am back in Greenville tomorrow afternoon and Friday.

I agree with George . To me a empty high way is bliss . Traffic sucks and like George said you must deal with the merge using all options to avoid a accident.

I remember being the moron when i was young . I never wanted to be stuck behind a truck or a old man driving a RV . Now as the old man I ‘m the one who is in no hurry to get somewhere , so i take my time and arrive alive and happy .

With the Military drones putting a missile on a target the size of a dinner plate with a remote pilot, remote drivers for the trucks seems doable.

Tom, I’d just say Mark and I are special.
After visiting one of our favorite areas in the country, Paso Robles,(got to meet Art Twaddell, fellow PCer) we have moved into snow country for a couple of weeks of snowmobiling. I have to brag on how well the webasto heats the bus and the bays, it’s a comfy 74 degrees inside, 65 in the bays, 9 outside.

Same light came on in my Marathon. I put in a new controller and it didn’t help. Turns out there are 2 fuses leading into the module and both were blown. New fuses solved the problem.

Sorry, color me confused! Do you have reservations for the Balloon Fiesta at the President’s Campground or somewhere else. The American RV Resort is way out there and getting to the Fiesta would involve arriving at 4-5 am as the highway gets too jammed up to travel after that. Day after day, that gets pretty old, especially when the events are cancelled.
