Some of those breakers / boxes are on the ceiling of the bays..

Mark,
You must have missed that part about it being a Marathon Rally so there wasn’t the normal amount of Liberty BS so we didn’t need the Liberty rose petals to cover the smell 🙂

XL coaches that had air locked doors allowed the air lock to be released by bleeding off aux air.

We have been full timers (truly homeless) in a non-slide Prevost since 1999. Our coach had opposing couches. One was thrown out the door almost immediately leaving a large space in the living area. We added a slender desk where the couch was and a stand-alone chair with built in foot rest (don’t like the separate foot rests). Now, my requirements are very different than more Prevost owners. When I am ready to travel, I MUST travel that day. That means that not having a slide pull in is a serious determent to my life style and will cost me money.
Prevost tried to sell Willie Nelson a new bus with slides and when they did a demo, it failed. They said “oops” come back tomorrow where it failed again. Double oops. The next thing you know, Willie is driving “another brand”.
You just need to think about how you will be using your coach, how important moving or not moving is and make an informed choice.
We LOVE our non-slide coach and we are looking to update to a new NON-SLIDE coach. The way I see it, the only thing the slide gives you is more carpet or tile to clean and allows you to sit a little farther away from your spouse. I LOVE being close to my spouse so separation is not important at all to me. Keep that part at the top of your list…TO ME……

It’s the longest 3 minutes in the bus world.

Ron, Prevost has oriented the batteries differently on different vintages although the cabling set up has not changed. What I cannot tell you is which posts are used for ground and 24V or ground and 12V because I do not know your 4 battery configuration. Some were set up as two pairs but I know some other battery orientation was 3 in a row and one alongside.
They are set up so you have them cabled in parallel and series, with those in series providing the 24V.
But if you have equalizer issues it is entirely possible the 12V portion of your battery pack is not being charged. Measure the posts on the equalizers. The 12 volt post voltage should be exactly 1/2 of the 24 volt post within 1/2 degree. If you are not getting that ratio your equalizers may not have been keeping the 12 volt side charged and that is the possible starting issue.

One battery shows 13.1, three batteries show 12.8.
Would not start this morning. Same situation for turns over but does not start. I did notice this morning that only one of the two Vanner 60-60 equalizers has a green light.
I am putting a charger on it again to charge for several hours.

South bound I-85 and intersection of I-385 in Greenville a mile down before the Pelham Road exit the lanes go from
4 to 3 with the furthest right closing off 1/2 mile before the exit. Everyone needs to be aware of the crazed drivers in all types of vehicles, including our semi buddies, that stay at speed of traffic until the very end expecting they will force themselves into a spot. I have had to lay on the horn many times even though I drive 5 to 10 mph below speed in this area.
i do not think it the age, Jon. I think the drivers are more aggressive and they are distracted by their mobile devices.

Has any work been done prior to this trip? New batteries, or any other work?

Thanks for all the help, nothing seems to work so I’ll have to stick to the master code.

Hey Gary, I had the 3 little air pumps that I think Jon is talking about and never had good luck with them. I had Marathon install the See level system about 2 years ago and it has worked flawlessly so far. They tied it into the Techlink in my bus and it now reads in 1% increments, hope this helps.

David, I replaced my brake chambers and carefully inspected the air hoses going to them and found no reason to replace them at this time. I am going by memory but as I recall you can buy replacement hoses from Prevost and that they are all the same length (cut me some slack here because I think that is the case). So I did buy a couple of hoses as spares.
No magic in replacing the rubber boots and that is the perfect time to insure the ball joints have no slop.

Just as you I find that Liberty and Prevost build a wonderful coach. Our 1996 is happiest when she is running down the road. So glad we opted for her rather than a newer sticks and staples. She is safe to ride in .glad you figured out the porch light, had the same issue here and found the same fix you did. Safe travels
