Tom, you haven’t snuck out and bought a Liberty behind our backs have you? That or you just were going through your pictures of previous coach dreaming of having a bus air coach again…….

That is my understanding from reading the manual, Tom. I thought I might be missing something. Well, I know I am missing something but I thought I might be missing something in particular.
Jeff thinks there must be a way for me to turn off the AC input to the inverters one at a time but I have not been able to find any way. I appreciate his help and you guys too. Keep thinking please.

House toilets have a different size outlet so adapting one to the coach would be a big project.
But even if mating up to the bus plumbing was not an issue, I would be a little concerned with a toilet tank filled with water that is slopping around, possibly escaping on hard curves or sudden stops or steep driveways. Additionally a toilet with a separate tank (not in one casting) is going to see forces it doesn’t get when sitting in a house. The bus can subject the weight of the tank plus its water to some heavy side forces in sudden stops and I am not sure I would want the risk of that ceramic tank breaking during a sudden stop or accident.

Jon, I have had both over the years and as frustrating as any of these type of outfits can be, Direct TV is infinitely less so. We had Dish in Milwaukee for many years and many times I repulsed an urge to drive to Illinois with home-made explosives. In Fla about 8 yrs ago we got Direct because of NFL ticket and have been home and bus happy since.

Congrads Bill, those are some impressive numbers.
Having been involved in several phone calls when things were not going as planned I appreciate your posting.
The kids loved the travel and adventure and will always have something to talk about with there friends. On the Fogerty’s visit one of the states they had not visited was Kansas. On our dinner outing we drove into Kansas for a short drive. And that makes state number 49. Missouri-Kansas state line is about 2 miles from our home.
Marathon Coach Club Magazine is doing another story with pictures ( fall issue) on the Fogerty’s travel I’am told.

Jerry and Gayle,
Having four slides in our current coach I can’t see going to less. We are currently in Asheville, NC, parked for 6 days with all four slides out. The room is something I don’t want to give up.
Our set up now is that we have two recliners across from our sofa. We have the ottomans out along with two small coffee tables and still have room to walk between them. If we had only one slide in the living area, it would be tight, I would have to move the ottomans or not use the coffee tables.
I have no interest in OTR as I’ve never had it. The dash air should work fine on most days. We will have 4 roof airs that I can run as many as I want off of the 4 inverters. I’ll probably run the genny as they need to be exercised anyway.
I guess that’s why Baskin Robins has 31 flavors, everybody stays happy!
Safe travels,
Mark

Still a bit confused. Asked a friend (retired Detroit machanic) about the boost guage. His reply was the series 60 from that vintage is controlled by on board computer. He felt that if all feels to be running good it would probably not be of great advantage. He did note to keep an eye on my exhuast digital readout as it will also indicate boost problems if readings come close to the 950 degree alarm and do not back down.
There is room in the dash for the bost guage, question is was the bus wired for optional guages? If so install would be a bunch simplier.
All this info is great!
Happy motoring

Yes, very nice web site. Good job Marathon! The only thing is we would like to see pictures of the engines and the engine compartments too, you know, the important stuff.

John, I am glad to see your post. I have been thinking of you. How are things going?

I can’t remember the exact sequence, but I don’t think the photocell comes into play until after ignition. I think it needs to see flame after the ignition, and if not it shuts down fuel flow. Andre is getting fuel but no spark.
