I must be the only one with a splendide vented combo machine that lives it…works great for me! I agree check for the vent, do not think there could be much more holding it up from coming out!

I ran into the same issues with the extensions. Pulled those off and replaced them with solid stems.
The extension is just one more point that can fail and leak. Doesn’t matter how tight the valve cap is installed, if the extension isnt seated properly, or it’s seal is bad, you can have a leak.

No to the windshield installation. It made the trip home in the toad safely and is laying on my work bench waiting ……for installation or for me to drop something on it.

Techlon designed the system for switching in my vintage coach 1998 Marathon. Not sure when Marathon stopped using this product but if your coach has any of the modules listed on this site you can buy them here. On the site click on products. http://www.techlon.com

I doubt I would be able to make use of your offer. I just hope my mistakes aren’t too costly! I have already donated to Jeff Rowe’s’ kids college fund, and plan on more!

Interesting … but remember there are two sides to this. As many Police Departments have learned, “dash-cams” not only have proven to be great technology to enable the collection of valuable evidence for the police when executing traffick stops, but they have also been used as evidence “against” the police when they do something stupid.
The same would apply to any RVer, if for some reason, you happen to do something “stupid.”

Please add your OK campgrounds to our PC Map.

I think what has most of us upset over this is some buyers do not make the effort to sort out fact from fiction, and as a result people who knowingly misrepresent a coach like that one end up with a pocketful of money that the swindled buyer plays hell getting back.
The key is to stop someone from getting screwed if it is possible to stop the seller from claiming it is a Prevost. If someone does buy the coach they likely will find out it is not a Prevost the first time they go into a Prevost service center for a repair.

I am curious, if you are willing to share, might you give us the cost of the trany and cooler repair. I am interested on how quickly a Prevost will empty my retirement account before I get one. Sorry to hear of your transmission problems, don’t want to make fun of your costly repairs. That is not my intentions. I know that these units are mechanical and prone to periodic breakdowns and scheduled maintance. I am coming to grips and feel life is too short to worry about money, Health and the enjoyment of life is so much more important. Glad you are back on the road.

Here’s a good example of what I was talking about, common sense. This tire did fail even after I brought this to the owners attention who did nothing, very expensive repair along side the interstate.
