If one of you guys who has a belt cover mounted to the door could send a picture, I would really appreciate it. I am spending over a year of my life on the 8v92 major overhaul and making the engine and engine bay all pretty with shiny new paint. I really don’t want grease flying all over the place.
Take your time…the snow is still flying in Michigan and my bus barn is not built yet.

Why monkey around in the engine compartment when the engine is running? This sounds like a seriously bad idea to me!

Bill:
I drilled a hole in the bottom of the box, put a rubber grommet in and ran the wires down through the hole to the newly located VR under the box. (existing wires were long enough).
I am currently away from the bus and can not provide pictures at this time. Sorry
I basically installed a L bracket under the mounting points for the box then bolted the VR to the bracket.

If its stuck thats would explain your symptoms. Its trickling through and filling your expansion tank. Then when the expansion tank gets depleted during the shower you are relying on actual available flow at that check valve. Then when it sits it trickles in filling the expansion tank again and you have another spell of good pressure.

You cant regulate pressure incrementally with a valve. Only flow.

(I think I figured out my problem.)
12.9 volts for chassis batteries at rest is a great number.
My conclusion is there is not a problem.
I’m out of here.

Awe darn. What a shock. I didn’t realize he was sick when he moved back to Louisiana. A gentle soul for sure. This makes me sad.

Ironhorse Condo Assoc LLC. Pecular, MO. Appox 15 miles south of KC.MO.
8 stalls 16 X 60 ft . inside connections for water, electric, sewer, fully heated and full bldg A/C.
Purchased in 2000 as RV storage for diesel pushers only. ie monthly rent for many years. After about 3 years and diesel only, stalls rarely turned over. Diesel only RV’s, building has front and rear escape doors, push button overhead doors, diesel only has cheaper insurance coverage. Drive in back out house rule .
In 2017 formed the first RV condo LLC. Missouri. You own the stall now sold with title, common area is under its own tax title along with operating expenses shared at 12.5 %.

Based solely on the number of phone calls I have received and posts I have read over the years my guess is the batteries are not cabled correctly. If they are however y second guess is a faulty equalizer.
Read the electrical section in the Prevostcar owner’s manual.

Dick,
Just because it is not my money, although I did incorporate this stuff in my home and office/shop.
Trench drain that has a poly body and stainless steel grate. I hate rust.
I second the ceiling fan idea.
At home I poured the foundation walls 24″ above the floor so I can wash the floor without damage to wall material. The office/shop is concrete tilt-up so no water issue there.
At home all the cabinets and sink are wall mounted, nothing touches the floor, so I can hose down the floor.
Garage floor is epoxy coated, easy to clean.
Large rubber hose terminated to the exterior so I can run coach in shop.
If you get to Madison let me know.

Hi Jon, finally got back to trouble shooting. It appears that I do have good 24 volts (double checked each connection). I metered each battery (There about 2 months old) and two were reading 15 volts and two were reading 13.43 volts. I found that a bit odd, but they all were at a good voltage.
Regarding the SEl, at first the bus would start and then as expected it shut down. I did order a new Oil Sensor and coolant sensor. I have not installed yet. I did add coolant as it seemed low (I don’t see a way to tell if it is full – no eye to look at) and I only had a gallon with me. I will pick up a few at the auto store this afternoon. Is it possible that a solenoid could have gone bad, and the engine isn’t getting fuel? I have spares (24V) that the previous owner left. And thanks for giving some direction.

Oh Man, that is exactly the kind of advise I was looking for. I was leary about jumpering things, but this will tell me in 1 minute where the issue is. Thanks!
