How do you get to the map? Seems to be gone.

Not easily found anymore, you have to go to Member Benefits than Member Discounts to find the map.

Does this make any sense? Is this one of the reasons participation on this forum seems to have dropped off a cliff?

The “PC Map” should be link on home page next to FORUMS, MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS, PARTNERS, etc. to provide top of mind awareness. Many members of the Forum probably don’t even know its there!
I think there has been a shift in online forum use over the last few years for ALL sorts of interest. The shift has been to Facebook. Which I think is a double edged sword in the long run. If you aren’t on Facebook, you’d be surprised to know there are probably six to nine different Prevost orientated FB pages with varying levels of activity, some much more than others.
One of the big downsides for those on Facebook and aren’t on the PC Forum, they don’t get the wisdom, knowledge, experience, or insight of Jon Wehrenberg which on most subjects is well worth the annual PC dues.

I do not do Fakebook and never will. Not because I think it is bad or wrong, but because I only have so much time during a day and I really do not want to spend it trying to visit or read every site.
Having said that however I have received countless emails containing some of the contents of various sites related to Prevost and I see a whole lot of misinformation that a lot of people accept at face value without even checking to see if it is right.
My only comment, which is my opinion only, is if you ask questions on any on-line site verify it. I know over the years I have engaged in pissing contests, some very heated and realize people often post their opinion and some of those opinions need to be verified.
For those wanting to know my all time two biggest pissing contests in which I asked Prevost to get involved in were related to motorcycle carriers with weights that greatly exceeded the receiver hitch weight limitations followed by an owner assuming 2500 was an acceptable RPM limit for a 60 Series engine, being pushed by the Jake or retarder going down a steep hill.
No matter who offers advice, check it out.

I personally look everywhere I can to gather information. I am a member of this fine Community, POG, WOG, BCM, and many others including facebook. For me it is about gathering knowledge, I feel the #1 way without a doubt to learn is at Rallies. The information and the talks we have with other bus owners is second to none. My Second favorite are these technical forums where there is so much experience and knowledge, and third would be Facebook. There are a few nuggets here and there on Facebook that do make sense, some not so much. I can’t imagine trying to do what we do every day with our busses without having the internet. Or maybe the opposite?, maybe more folks now have busses because the information is readily avail?

I’ve said on this Forum and I’ve told prospective Prevost buyers who call me for information, ideas, and opinions that without the PC Forum:
1. we probably would have not bought a Prevost.
2. if we had, we would have probably sold it by now.
I’ve accepted the fact that when I need help the PC Forum is the place to go for the most most accurate information and advice anywhere.
That said, there are some smart folks on the Facebook pages, a few of which are here too. I find the Facebook posts interesting. Lots of tire kickers, prospective Prevost owners, and new owners on the Facebook pages.

I look at three Face book Groups and find there are a lot of good info as to problems experienced. The problem is you have to sort through a lot of bullshit posted by people wanting to make a smart remarks and not vital to solving the persons problem or need to learn about a particular item.
The forum is more respectable for the uneducated question and providing revelant answers.
The forum has some really experience people who provide step solving procedures.
I have gained a lot of information here as this bus is totally different from my tractor or backhoe, which I can easily address problems and fix quickly.

It is one of my goals to migrate some of the Facebook only users to the forum since many of them don’t know this site/forum exist. And if they do, they assume membership comes with a cost. If you have a chance, and wouldn’t mind helping, I would appreciate your gentle nudge on occasion to help spread the word in Facebook land.

Just be sure to protect the integrity of the PC forum. Some of the Fakebook stuff sent to me was not only wrong, it was cited as the gospel which is misleading at best, and dangerous potentially. Repeat wrong information often enough and people believe it to be true.
New owners who tend to use Fakebook ask questions, get a bogus answer and only after it bites them in the butt do they ever realize almost 100% of the answers they seek are at their fingertips in the form of owners or operators or service manuals available on the Prevost Car site.
To get answers from people who have hands on experience (PC has many very good owners willing to share) owners just have to learn who are really very accurate compared to those who shoot from the lip.
