As a follow-up,
Went thru my pre-inspection before departure. No air in Prevost Aux tank. Went back to engine compartment to check the three belts on the belts tensioners. All were tight. I thought they would be loose if no air was in the Prevost Aux tank.
What am I missing?

i think i will throw my 2 cents in
i did a full conversion a my first bus a GMC 4905 , i can tell you its alot of work! I purchased most of items need for the conversion online … this was before the internet was big as its now ! I have rebuilt a MCI5C, GMC4106.. Now i have the marathon and my father has a CC . I learned how to rivet from him when he converted a 1943 yellow coach back in the early 70s ,.. its alot of work and you can spend some serious money . I probably wasted 5-7 k on my fisrt conversion .. it. each bus has its plus and minuses . if starting from scratch in the conversion its would be wise to have some sort of donor coach and RV for parts if doing it on a budget. I purchased most of my items from a place in IOWA called RON THE Bus nut . Ron was always great to work with….. updating a coach for me was the best. you already had the big ticket items…. just my thoughts …. the site is acting wierd tonight hard to type….

You bring up a good point about the soap not rubbing off as easily. Took us several tries with many different brands of soap. Found that body wash comes off easier, and for bar soap regular dove soap works best. If you’re dry camping and want to use as little water as possible and worry about getting the soap off, we turn the water softener bypass valve. Then we’re back to the hard scaly water and wiping down the shower. But the soap comes off easily haha.

If the photos do anything, they kind of confirm that those who want to leave a nice warm home and actually go out and play in the snow might not have their thinking cap on straight. (Except Dan and the Redhead of course.)
There was a time when at midnight we would still be running the snow trails on our 3 wheeled Honda ATVs with back packs on carrying wine and wine glasses for when we took breaks. As I look back on those episodes I realized we were about a half bubble off level. At the time it seemed like fun, but then we grew up.
BTW, when it is sub zero temps, and you pop the cork on the wine, the liquid that ends up in your wine glass and ultimately your belly is almost pure alcohol because whatever else is in the wine bottle is frozen to the sides of the bottle. It is amazing how quick you can get a buzz on from a small glass of “wine”. Or two. Maybe three……

I had this same thing happen to me at a Flyn J in INDY (south side ) They got me for 14000 … I did report to the to me police ! I did have a 44 in the bus but it all happened so fast! I got out to pump fuel a guy walked up to me and give me that same storyand he was wearing a flying J ball cap . what i didnt see is the guys coming up behind me ….. I was lucky i dont carry my wallet when i travel. its hide . I waited 2 hours for the police and they NEVER showed . called 911 again and they finally showed gave them a statement filed the report .. that was the last i heard… I now only pay with a card and very rarely have cash!

Hey Tom,
So just how long ago did you leave Nancy alone long enough with the coach to dabble with the Webasto. Tough way to go about getting those slides she wants. Would it not be easier for you to just get Nancy what she wants and then you would not have anything to worry about, plus you would have another coach on which to chase gremlins.

We have ridden our motorcycles through there many years on our ride to Sturgis from California. It’s beautiful. We were just trying to plan a trip for August. I was thinking Colorado, but this sounds amazing!
We would probably be in!!!
