New Bus….Happy Ending!
Well…..I didn’t want to jinx anything, so I have been radio silent until we were officially traveling home in our new bus!
We jumped in the deep in, feet first, with cocktails and no floaties!
We bought a 2006 Featherlite Triple Slide. We are super excited and appreciate everyone’s help and advice! We have a new learning experience ahead of us with AMX system, Traveller and In Motion! The 365s are totally different. LOWD! So much road noise! Holy moly!
Well here she is, I’m sure you all have seen her on the sites for sale. We are super excited and just can’t believe its really ours!

The memories are already beginning on our adventure home!
I did want to tell the PC that our wonderful 2000 Featherlite Vantare Non-Slide will be for sale at Legacy Coach as soon as we get home. She is a good bus, no squeaks, smooth ride, well cared for. It was a great first bus!

Congrats as great looking bus and sure the learning curve won’t be that great….. Sorry we missed you both in Gulf Shores last summer and hope to catch up some day……
Our learning curve was from a tent to a Prevost!!!

Dawn, congrats ! other than expansion joints the 365’s should not be louder. When you get your weights, check tire pressure You should be able to run less than the 315’s. Geo.

That’s a good suggestion on weight check from Corey. In the mean time suggest 105 steer 95 drive 85 tag. cold

Dawn…. congratulations on your new bus… you will love it… like others said you should not have any road noise with the 365’s… so have them checked out.

Al, After I put on 365s for the S/T, per Michelin & my coach’s weight, my psi should be S/T at 80 and drive at 85. Jeff initially set S/T at 90 and drive at 95. After adding 2,000 pounds of weight of the items I carry, I have recently gone to 95 on my S/T and 100 on my drive. But with the added weight of slides, you may have to increase the psi, but you need to get an accurate weight on each wheel.

Great looking Bus Dawn!
It’s hard to beat a nice Featherlite, we just upgraded to a ’04 with rear bath, with the Super Slide in the bedroom.
Our ’01 Featherlite sold within 2 weeks after posting it for sale.
I agree with Geo, only noise from 365’s is the expansion joints.
