Glen: I’ll bet you came right through Kerrville on 16. The shop is up the hill just before you get to the football stadium.

I recommend you call LeMeilleurs RV, Truck & Equip in Kerrville, TX. Not far from you. They just dealt with my radiator problem. Call 830-895-2888 and ask for Service Manager David Clarke or owner Denise LeMeilleur. Feel free to tell them I pointed you in their direction. If you do a drive-by ahead of your call, you’ll be pleased.

    Hello,

I am sad, I just canceled my next trip to Sante Fe. My wife and I just can’t take a chance of being on the road and getting sick. Plus we tend to be around people when we travel. We are going to take a few day trips close to home with my coach instead. Smoker will be busy with ribs and turkey. Lot’s of hiking away from other people.

What are you thinking of doing?

I forgot to mention, it is a very tight fit coming out and going back in.

The bulbs, as pictured, come out of the square indicator switches once I remove the colored/labeled lenses, but they cannot be removed from the yellow enclosure. The switch bulbs should be 12V (I’m assuming).

When I adjusted after greasing and replacing pins with lube I tightened slack adjusters to rotor backed off 3/4 turn and free stroke is 3/4 inch, but before everything I tightened slack adjuster and it was a tad over 1/2 turn backed off. Isn’t it true the auto slack adjusters will self adjust so If they are a little loose it will selfadjust??

Check to see if your stop engine and check engine lights come on each time you turn on the ignition. If they come on you are getting power to the ECM if not no power.

Next time you are in Crossville, Les will rent you a nice spot. He charges 20% less than KOA. Since he has added all his toys to his coach he needs the cash flow. He might negotiate and even lower price for a longer stay with Glen’s meals included.

Which begs the question as to why the Calgary Prevost folks did not do that.

Seen it. The fella showing it was amazed. He could go down a aisle or 2 and find a 2 million dollar Prevost and be more amazed.

In my previous life I worked in the pulp and paper industry and water treatment was always an issue. I came across a product called Oxine. This product is different from chlorine in that OXINE® is a highly refined blend of oxychloro species containing purified sodium chlorite. When activated, chlorine dioxide is produced, greatly enhancing OXINE®’s antimicrobial activity. With applications in the food processing and water treatment industries. OXINE® displays broad spectrum antimicrobial activity, proven effective againstLegionella, E. Coli O157:H7, Salmonella, Aspergillus, Listeria, Staphylococcus and Pseudomonas, among others. This product is especially suited for the removal and subsequent control of biofilm. OXINE® is EPA registered and organically approved through Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) and possesses a myriad of other approvals.

I would suggest that this be used to clean and treat contained storage tanks that may have a build up of bio film in a tank and used when fillling water tanks from water sources that might be suspect. Adding a little (recommended dosage) to the fill spout of a water tank prior to refilling the fresh water tank will ensure that water is pure to drink and bath in. This product is used in third world countries to treat unpurified water from rivers and streams containing animal runoff to prevent illness. Hope this is of interest

Al, I can only speak about my experience with a breaker that was hidden behind a panel in the top of the first bay on my 87 coach, I could not exert enough force with my finger to reset the breaker and had to use a screw driver or something so I could push with both hands.

If I remember it tripped again on a subsequent journey and I ended up replacing it so I don’t know if the force required to reset it was normal or if it was just a bad breaker.

I prefer Wal-Mart overnights but have stayed at rest areas a few times. Out West there are some really nice ones with lots of room and they feel plenty safe. We tend to find that their is a Wal-Mart not far off the Interstate somewhere near where our stop plans were. We check RVParky.com (or the RVParky app on our phone) to see if the Wal-Mart is listed as an “overnight” OK site ahead of time as well.
