I had Silver Leaf do my 99 CC in about 2008 and loved it.
Replicates the CC digital dash but gets rid of the computer and all the wiring that originally supported the CC version.
The Silver Leaf version ties into the DDEC.
A similar arrangement might be Ray Davis’s RV Dash that runs on an iPad and is wireless from a wifi transmitter that plugs in the data port in the coach by the drivers seat or under the dash.
I am not sure if Silver Leaf can convert an original Prevost dash to add the computer screen. Call Dale or Martin at Silver Leaf and talk to them.

Just be aware an XLII belt may differ from one required for an XL.

Jon, what say you a going to a 295/80R22.5?
My preference is to go to a 315/80R22.5.

I was just at Prevost Winter Garden for 3 days. I talked to them about Michelins. Tire price is good but there is no warranty other than what Michelin provides.
I also talked to Dave at NTCS who pointed out with their program:
- INCLUDES 3 Year RV Wheel & Tire Coverage—after 3 years you will only pay $200 for each new tire you purchase and again it will be covered for 3 years
- Coverage includes any Road Hazard occurrence ie. Nail blowouts, cut sidewall, as long as there is 4/32 of tread left on tire.
See you soon ETLC for my new tires.
Oh, and remember Michelin’s price goes up April 1.

To put a cap on this I looked at Battleborn and Victron. Battleborn does not have an 8D size and Victron will not allow series connections so Relion is the only drop in option for almost all Prevost conversions.

As Don says the 5 port Norgrens go to a “neutral” position with the key off. In that position air is locked in the air bags if the valve closes as it is supposed to.
However, before you assume it is a five port valve make a simple check and verify air is not leaking past any of the solenoid valves in the manifold in the steer compartment by cracking the fittings and listening for air. If the 5 port cannot return to neutral is is usually a crud build up in the valve usually associated with moisture having been in the system, but if the solenoid valves in the steer compartment are leaking and holding pressure in the 5 port actuator that could be preventing the 5 port from shutting off air flow.
The solenoid valves, when de-energized shut off air flow, but are supposed to exhaust air from the 3 and 5 port valves so no pressure on the 3 or 5 port remains, and if that (rare event) was to happen a new 5 port would act the same as the existing one.

John L, If you are doing the lube the shaft from the slack adjuster to the caliper has two fittings. All the grease does is lube the shaft so it rotates easily. One shot is all each fitting needs. With fittings such as tie rod ends, only apply enough grease to detect a slight motion on the rubber dust boots. The grease fitting is located so a relatively small amount of grease is all it takes to lube between the moving surfaces.
If you pay someone to lube your coach expect a ration of attitude because it seems they feel the more grease they pump the better the job.

I know one thing from watching an assortment of truckers driving over the last several years I do not want to park near them. I don’t want to hear engines idling, generators or reefer units cycling on and off, see jugs of piss dumped on the ground just before they pull away, or even risk collision damage.
But there is a crying need for places for trucks to park as well.
A long time ago in the mid to late 90’s Best Western had a truck / RV parking program at locations with large ample parking areas. Pull in, go give the desk clerk $5 and spend the night. No designated sites, in fact no markings on the ground at all so it was kind of a free for all, but it was fenced and lighted. As far as we were concerned it was a good deal, but we haven’t seen anything like that in years.

Chuck, it’s about time! I knew it could be done as about 11 yrs ago my refrig guy was smart enough to make a new board on a HR Navigator we had. Luckily on my current Vantare the previous owner had just recently done the Coleman-Mach retro-fit before we purchased it. Geo.
