I have activated my email account. I have only just found this forum so all information, including information on the site itself is very helpful. I have searched for a loose ground wire, but I’m not sure I have looked in all the right places.

Our floorplan in our RIVETED coach, has the aisle on the far driverside, with the bathroom as it own room. A side aisle I am wishing for allows transit from bedroom to kitchen without passing thru, but by the bath. Its a great plan especially when we have Chris’ mom along. She can be in the bathroom in the morning, and we can go to the kitchen without intruding,.

This floorplan was more common in the early to mid 90’s but has almost disappeared today. There are some Marathon coaches with rivets out there that have this plan. Newer Marathons that have the bunkbed/mid aisle closet, have a pair of pocket doors that close off the bath from the hall, That floorplan would work, too, but we would have to upgrade to a non riveted glued coach or an H.

hmm, I have heard this once before. However, no one at Beaver Coach sales, which is what Beaver Coach has become can confirm or deny if buses were converted earlier than 1989. Interesting, tho.

Luvrbus, do you have any photos that show the Beaver Logo on you bus from 1985 and /or a VIN number. All of my information is based on the 33 shell numbers Bill Jensen lent me,, as well Iris Schmidt, who was, and is, the (BAC) Beaver Ambassador Club membership chair since 1990. She had some warranty claim invoices with names. Also, john Olivera, former Beaver Coach President at the time the busses were converted. It was his program. Ty Kelly, at Beaver Coach sales, who helped me in contacting former Beaver employees, as well as Mr. Hoag, one of Beaver’s original owners. Matter of fact those here who know Ken Robertson at Parliament Coach, was on the line when our coach was ordered and built for John and Joyce Barnard of Ft Worth Tx. I was able to talk to Mr Barnard before he died shortly after we bought our coach in Sept 2009. I also located and spoke to our coach’s second owner. We are the third. Phil Cooper has resold many of the Beaver Busss over the years, he was a good resource, too. Also, the brother of former W. Virginia governor, now senator of W Virginia Joe Manchin was helpful, too. And the list of people who have helped me over the past 5 years is long.

Hey Robert

Why not consider partitioning the exhaust tip, then running the exhaust from the generator through one partition and the leaving the remaining for the bus exhaust, that way the exhaust tip looks original expect for the two partitions.

Not a good picture, but it’s mounted on the verticle post with velcro. Since everything is black, it blends in well.

This is the repeater in the bedroom. You need this to assure no loss of signal to your toad. Some have hidden this in a cabinet, never tried that, but if the look bugs you, may want to try it hiding it.

Ron, my aux pressure has always dropped to 0 within an hour or so, but the bus would stay up for a week at least.

I found a fitting blowing bubbles , the 1/4 in line that goes from the system fill in the RR engine bay to the air dryer.

That’s all I’ve found so far.

Peter Should be an easy install. Ihave neon lights installed by Liberty when the coach was built.

I question whether driving with blue lights on would be legal. Rick

Adesa allows you to go by there days before the auction and you can check stuff out call the old owners or what ever else you can figure out to get info. Dealers buy them there and resell them. Auctions are not for the skiddish but im sure some one with the knowledge such as Jon and Tom have could do well , I have bought at auctions all my life sure i have been stung a time or two , but im sure all of you have tried to roll a hard ten, if it comes in you win big . The more you know the better off you are you can look at a repo and see how it was cared for start them test them try them buy them . There are not aways a Prevost there . I have been to Richie Brothers also , bid are higher there because the public is allowed and tend to think anything at an auction is a bargian. Im sure all of us know a dealer that would help us buy at a dealer auction. But a REPO dealer sale is far better than a dealer auction because the repos from the banks are not as dressed up to hide problums , banks just want out it is not thier personal money going out the door. Hard luck has hit a lot of people in the past few years, there are a lot of bargins at a repo sale.
