It’s nice to know that you guys feel comfortable full-timing in BoB with no slides. Our preference is with slides, but as I’m discovering, the price goes up significantly with slides.
Never been to OR but I’m sure we’ll start to remedy that starting in Jan. ’16!
Like most on this site, I’ll try to locate that “right coach for us” for the best bank-for-the-buck.

The appointment at a Prevost Mira Loma went well. The window installed 2 1/2 years ago by Prevost Nashville was not under warranty but it was replaced with all costs covered under good will. They ask me what I thought I should pay and I told them, “I do think Prevost should offer to absorb at least some of the labor. I really, in good conscience, can not go any farther than saying that…You bill me what is right and proper and I will pay it.“ They went way beyond and I commend them for it.
While emailing back and for I did make note of the fact that the sealant on the outside is more uneven that it was before. (Between us it looks like it was put on with a kids elbow or thumb.) However, for the price I am willing to let it slide.
Worse part about the whole visit was that I missed Peter by less than 48 hours.
Hopefully this one will last a very, very long time.

Oh absolutely you need to consider it. It can get dicey, though, and you need to make sure that you have either a corporation or an actual residence in the state in which you choose to license your bus. If you compare a bus purchase in California, for example, vs. Montana, we’re talking tens of thousands of dollars in savings!

Perhaps I have this figured out!
Tires are rated by the load carrying ability of the sidewalls which is regulated by air pressure.
When a tire is on the steer axle wearing unevenly it nevertheless is carrying
the load on both sidewalls, even though on the steer axle the load is constantly
shifting. Uneven tread wear is ‘usually’ caused by improper toe adjustment. With
improper toe adjustment tire wear is caused by dragging the tire, but the load
remains pretty evenly distributed to both sidewalls. Same goes for cupping and scalloping caused
by out of balance or wheel bearings. Also, keep in mind the tire is new at full
strength when installed on the steering axle and carries more air
pressure.When an unevenly worn used tire is moved to the tag axle two
negatives happen: One, the weight is no longer even on both sidewalls as the
side with the most thread carries more of the weight. Two, the air pressure is
reduced accentuating the condition. Here’s a test to prove my point. Stand in one position with a small shim under
one edge of your shoe and notice your weight shift to the opposite side. I believe that’s what happens when a tire is moved
to a ridged position with uneven tread depth.So you might ask; why then if the same tire were moved to a
drive axle it would perform properly. My
guess: The tire doesn’t carry as much weight (it has a helper next to it) and
the air pressure is set higher on that axle.Okay, you might think this is a lot of bull-pucky, but it
sounded logical in my head. JOne other scenario that causes many drivers of RVs to have
tire troubles is the failure to weigh the coach side-to-side and inflate both
tires based on the heaviest side of the axle. This would be critical when
moving a used tire to a lighter axle – especially on a coach with slide-outs. -

As the window seal fails the window breathes. When it is cool it inhales air that has some moisture, even low humidy, but never the less it contains some moisture. When it gets warm the window exhales, but never all the air. With each inhale/exhale cycle the moisture content increases because the air comes in contact with cooler parts, condenses and then more moisture remains than is expelled.
After a while you see the moisture as condensation on the interior surfaces of the glass.
If you can pull a vacuum of the interior of the window, then introduce an inert dry gas such as argon, and reseal the perimeter you have repaired the window, but if the problem has gone on for a while the glass inside is etched or soiled.

This happened running on a nice smooth road at 55 mph. My operator said he was in the ditch before he knew what happened. He was a very experienced driver. I guess you never know how these trucks/coaches will react.

Thanks to Al , all the chili cookers, JDUB and Jeff Rowe for all they did and Tom, Nancy, Jon and Di for everything they did ( I think they still claim they did nothing ) to make the OKC No Rally Rally a great time. We regretfully had to miss the vault tour tonight and hope for a description from someone. Safe travels everyone.

According to the NJ document listing limitations the parkway height limit is 13’6″ which tells me as long as you are that height or less you will have no issues.

The sub zero can be serviced in place. If it is not the condensing fan (if it does cycle on and off there will be heat around the perimeter behind the door gasket) it could be the compressor if your inverters are not pure sine wave. Peter is the expert in that area.
To access the serviceable items on your sub zero remove the lower panel(s) and you will see a scew on each side that holds the bottom tray in place. Remove those and just slide the tray out.
If it turns out to be the condensing fan motor it is an easy fix you can do.
