Then the poor people who were parked on the East side probably thought they were at Cape Canaveral since their rear tires, in the grass, were about 2 feet below the fronts which were on the pavement. Even Tom’s boards would not have helped them.

Like others, I had my rear tires on the dirt and my front tires on the pavement. But looking at the big picture, we were at a a fairground and not a park that’s designed for large motorhomes. It was nice being able to walk to and from the show. Yes, this is a trade-off, but I felt it was convenient being so close to the show.

I do my share of dry camping and while my site was not perfectly level, if it was uncomfortable, there was the option of moving to the parking lot.

I assume by spacer you mean the top most section which is thru bolted between the mounting plate and the valve body (which comes pre assembled but is at least 2 more sections).

i reused the partial threaded bolts for the mounting plate. I now wonder if these bottomed out and did not pull the sections together adequately. I don’t think so as the leak appeared to be at one spot on the diameter. But I’ll check when I bench test.

I did not realize I was living in the stone ages. Our fridge has cabinet type latches and they will not hold well. My resourceful wife uses gaffer tape while traveling. It does not look good but she says it looks better than food all over the floor.

    Andre’ & Kathy:

Miller Agency recommended several appraisers; we chose Mark Koch of Automotive Appraisal Services (1-800-495-2525). Don’t be fooled by the name, he knows bus conversions and he knows Prevosts.

If all you want to do is go to a new venue and sit and watch TV when you get there, let me be the first to tell you there are cheaper ways than in a Prevost.

But you likely know that already.

Think I struck a note when started this discussion! Yes, each one has a preference and how they use it. Pro & Cons of each. Jon hit it, he never could justify purchasing any coach. Just enjoy and b thankful for what u got, cause u can never out buy the next guy anyway.

    Alvie,

Call me if you come over and I’ll pick you up with the golf car, the general parking is a hike from the event.

I have two connections. A wire from Comcast comes into the house so I can answer posts. Works great and is fast. It has no limits at all and it is also my telephone line and lets me watch as much Netflix as I want and I don’t have to worry about limits.

When I am in the bus my connection is my Verizon Jet Pack. It has a 5G limit and from experience I have never exceeded 3G. I use it to monitor various sites including this one and answer email. I do the same stuff on it as I do on the Comcast cable except when I am traveling I don’t use it for anything except computer stuff and not to watch Netflix which I rarely use at home.

Finally able to replace the water heater. When finished, do I top off the antifreeze for the engine to top off the wabasto for the heat exchanger also or are the systems seperate?

    Dick,

Sounds to me as if a gear has been stripped on the motor. The fan motor is likely one that shuts off when sufficient resistance is applied, i.e. when the vent hood while closing impacts the housing.

Not sure since I don’t have a Liberty with all this features.
