I think that’s my problem because mine work whenever they like, if I just the power at the relay no issues they run all day, so I have ordered a relay to replace the one on there and hopefully that resolves the issue

Happens daily on autos for sale websites. That`s the way to bust it by offering yourself or someone at their location to inspect.

Yes, worn out and/or loose engine mount could definitely cause some problems.

Keep in mind that I am quoting DISH and DirecTV information. Any reference to RV or Outdoors is term made up by those companies to deal with antennas neither DISH or DirecTV built or support. Yes, DISH and DirecTV try to offer help but their business is home users. Winegard and KVH and King Controls built antennas to “work with” these services.

Companies have used GPS in their antennas in the past but found not to help that much. Each satellite broadcasts and ID and it’s just as quick and easy to ID a couple of satellites, do the math and calculate their locations. Once at a new location the locations of the satellites is known and changing channels is just a matter of a second or 2 for the antenna to swing between one and another. As I have mentioned previously, the KVH antenna is the least RV friendly antenna out there and overly complicated. The very fact that you have to connect a computer to get the satellite options brings that fact to the forefront. As an example, with Winegard you simply need to switch a couple of dip switches on the roof. Yes, you have to go on the roof but this is usually something you only have to do once or if you travel from Coast to Coast and want to change the ARC you are assigned to.

My 04 H was still stacked, I think they changed shortly after that, maybe with EGR.

Dick, Magnum AGS has been in use for a very long time on RVs that have no other automation. I would think that it is easy to set it up totally independent and let it do its thing, which as you have discovered is a lot.

Someone knowledgeable of a converter’s specific system could tell you if there would be any interference from a totally independent, non connected Magnum system.

I’m pretty sure Jeff (ETLC) said he could set up my Magnum’s with AGS and even tie it in to Crestron. I’ll probably look in to it when I convert to Li batteries and need to add the BMK module.

What is really needed is a standard for testing or measuring tow bars so we have a means of knowing when service or repairs are needed.

My first thought would be to change the fuel filters. Also do you have more then 1/4 tank of fuel? If there is a small electric fuel pump on the generator, that could be going bad.

    Hello,

I have a 1998 Featherlight with a Powertech Gen enclosed in a Marine Grade hush box. The generator is totally enclosed inside the bay and when operating you can not hear it from 5 feet away. With the doors of the hush box and bay open it is terribly loud. You could never run it with out everyone complaining about the noise.

There is a very large cooling fan that keeps it operating. It currently has 5400 hours of running with the doors closed.

I am unsure how the set up is on the Royal, but I can’t imagine not being able to run with bay closed?

Do you have a hush box?

Just wondering, is Power Management Switch on?

Or it might be a baseboard heater breaker in the basement panel that needs to be reset ??

I thought that I heard the reporter say the Prevost was a 1998 model that had been restored. The Prevost that I saw was a 1985-1990 model. What year is correct?

There are seal kits available for the TM 31 compressor but I don’t know if it is worth the trouble. Never put one in.

Call Jeff Rowe at ETLC and he can tell you if the kits work.
