Need to get a new mattress. What have you bought? Satisfaction on a particular brand.

My coach my be different but it uses a standard Queen sized bed. Buy anything you like from any store you like and you are good to go!

Hey George ours has a air bed also, Nice thing about a air bed is that their light, for getting under the bed. Our old Foretravel had a Tempertic bed and it weighted a ton, getting under the bed was a job, But under the bed in the Foretravel was the motor so wasn’t under that often, the bus we have a lot of stuff under bed. Also measure the mattress I think it a little shorter in length like I think 6 inches. Yours being a XL45 ft might be different ours being a XL40 might be different.

We had the Sleep Number bed in our ’08 Dynasty that we had built new. OMG, that Sleep Number mattress was a pain in the bottom! Everything broke including the pump that was replaced under warranty, both wands went out twice and then the bed started losing air on one side.

I couldn’t stand it anymore and threw the whole package (mattress and all) into the dumpster at a RV Park in St. Charles, MO.

We drove down to a mattress store and bought a king size Beauty Rest pillow top mattress…… absolutely one of the most comfortable mattresses that we have. When we sold the Dynasty, I moved the Beauty Rest to the house then I went to Camping World and bought a new RV mattress to put in it’s place in the motorhome.

I will never have another mattress with wands, pumps and an electric cord!

I have to say that the mattress that Liberty uses is also a very comfortable mattress, very similar to the Beauty Rest in comfort.

    Safe travels,

    Mark

Ours came with a Tempur-pedic mattress. I started looking for another mattress before I picked up the coach, but surprise…I liked it so I kept it. But..it is a custom size and I think it would be a hassle trying to duplicate it in another brand/type. It’s a junior king.

We are looking to change out our mattresses. Biggest issue, any recommendations on extricating an inner spring mattress out of a “riveted XL”

We dont know our current mattress age, but with “squatty” XL side windows and front windshield (too small”, we wonder if our current mattress was installed before one of the two “slide outs” were installed

A mattress bends. Side to side it is about as tall as a person so stand it on its side and walk it to the front of the bus. When you get to the front passenger seat start bending it and taking it down the steps.

Or just remove the entire front slide, take it out, bring the new one in and replace the slide.
