Most of coaches I’ve seen with mirror finish around the steps have mirror finish polished stainless steel.
Most any good sheet metal shop can supply, cut and bend this material to your precise measurements. It isn’t very expensive unless the shop is trying to gouge you.
Another mirror finish you see in many lower priced RVs is mirror acrylic. It doesn’t bend and really needs to be cut on a laser cutter to be precise and smooth. it isn’t as expensive as SS.

Agree with you Bryan, the pickins are rather slim in that area and anything closer ones risks some damage from the roads…not the narrow and windy so much as the outcroppings of rock!

I have little experience selling a coach. I have only done it twice and from those experiences I have come away with some opinions.
Ads anywhere on the internet will attract attention, but those on other than Prevost specifc sites such as the PC listing tend to bring out one of two types of “buyers”. Ebay gets a lot of exposure but along with that comes the scam artists, people who could care less about the coach but want to buy it for a few cents on the dollar, and folks who don’t know the difference between a Winnebago and a Prevost. Sometimes a real buyer can come out of that horde. The problem is the open bid process makes people think the fair price is a very low one. The coach history has little value and genuine buyers typically want a bargain, not a good coach.
The RV sales sites attract dreamers. They have a conventional motorhome and if they can sell it next week they want to buy my coach. They know a Prevost is a high quality coach, but they cannot appreciate that a 15 year old Prevost cannot be compared to their motorhome, and unless the motorhome owner has spent time participating on Prevost sites a lot of the conversation is aimed at trying to explain the color of the sofa is relatively unimportant.
Potential buyers who have been looking on Prevost sites such as ours are generally real, especially if they have been watching the listings, lurking or participating on the forums, and know the difference between a Royal or a Millennium. When I did sell my coaches I did use the non-Prevost sales sites for the exposure, but the bottom line is the forums were where potential buyers were able to learn about the coaches and make the decision to look at the coach which resulted in sales.
I can say from looking at coaches listed on various sites the exposure makes a buyer aware. But when I looked at the coaches I was surprised at how ill prepared sellers were. No proof of a maintenance program, no attempt to detail the coach or repair obvious defects, and absolutely no attempt to tell the truth when the answer was easily verified.
I personally know two coaches now for sale. I know how much Diane and Larry have put into maintaining their H3 and that if anyone is looking seriously at a 2 slide H3 with OTR that coach needs to be near the top of the wish list. Larry and Diane can tell you about the high quality care their coach has had including a very comprehensive amount of recent work by Ben and Rick at Coach Worx.
I also know Tom Roberts early 90’s Liberty. I first saw it when it was owned by a member from Washington state. He had the coach painted, added new inverters, and had a coach anyone would want, including Truk who bought it. Truk also added value when he had it. He sold it to Tom Roberts who has continued to maintain the coach and add updates.
Both coaches are owned by PC members and both are going to make someone very happy. Both are great step up coaches for motorhome owners. Both coaches are rare in that they are in exceptional condition having been maintained by owners that are very careful. This is a venue where potential buyers can ask about coaches because there are so many of us that know about other coaches. With almost 1400 members now there aren’t many coaches someone won’t know about.
So for you folks out there who are looking for a coach, maybe want to move up into a Prevost, start with our coach listings. Ask questions. If needed show up in OKC to see what owners like about their coaches and what they recommend to potential buyers. There is no better place on the planet to learn about coaches and specifically about coaches for sale.

Measure your mirrors as they are extended. Anything less then 12 feet width might be a problem.

Progress Report:
We are making great progress on our implementation of the Prevost Community Fuel Discount Program. Working with the administrator of the program we are working on behind the scenes documents and application forms required by the plan administrator. It will function similar to the NAPA fleet discount program with a link only visible to registered members of Prevost Community.
There will be some information required on the Prevost Community side to qualify as a Prevost (or equivalent) owner. Once that is satisfied you will be taken to the application form on the Prevost Community Fuel Plan Administrator’s site. Once the application has been completed and verified you will receive cards for the program in the mail.
As you know we respect everyone’s privacy and never share information with anyone. But our plan administrator will require complete information about the applicant, but be assured we will not have access to that information nor will it be made available to anyone.
As Tom and I have stated ever since the creation of Prevost Community we want to provide Prevost owners and enthusiasts with benefits only available to large numbers. Our fuel discount program is an excellent example of how our numbers work to our mutual benefit. We are going to be implementing the program soon and we hope everyone that is eligible will participate and use the program extensively. The success of the program will depend on us all.

It will be taken care of, Jon.
Yes, it is good that I understand this now. I have driven the coach
about 9,000 miles. Had it in to Mira Loma for a thorough inspection and maintenance about
7,000 miles ago. Also to a couple other well known shops. No one said anything about the
air system, dryers, brakes at all.But the buck stops here. I am just putting my attention on the brakes now. I will be more diligent
from now on, in general. What a shame this got to such an extreme condition.
I am not far from Eugene. I will get things taken care of.
A sobering message, Jon. And sobering thoughts about what could have happened and what
the lovely coach has endured. Thanks again for your good help.Susan
