Miller has found in my case National Interstate was not competitive and placed my insurance with Victoria (or Titan same company.)

I complained about the increase and Marlene and I found an oversight and I was able to reduce my premiums. Don’t hesitate to shop.

George: Yes and yes. We’re in La Crosse today. I’ll call you on our return trip.

All: I suspected we’d need a bill of sale. Anyone aware of good examples online I could use?

    Thanks for all the suggestions.

I hear folks wanting a rally out west all the time. Someone needs to step up and kick one off on the left coast and get together. I may have to be in Montana in July, so maybe there are some spots in that neck of the woods that would be good for the west and midwest members.

    I think C’bus should own this…….

One possible explanation is that one of the chargers went into “equalization” mode and the other did not expect it.

We did almost 700 miles to get home yesterday and after I get our pups rescued from the kennel I will have some time to post some photos and add a few comments.

Tom and have done rallies in the past, and we have each attended a whole bunch of rallies. This one was too short, with no “free” time so we were both lacking time to spend with everyone and we are sorry we weren’t able. PC is a fantastic group and it was rewarding to be able to do this rally. We do think this rally was one of the good ones.

Don’t forget our objective from the beginning was to do at least one rally a year that was put on by all the Prevost clubs so we could have at least 200 coaches. If we can help accomplish that the rally will be as good asa the 200 coach rallies put on by the Prevost Prouds in the 90s and which had the best show coaches, seminars, service supports and activities. So if you liked the Tampa rally you will love attending a 200 coach rally. If you are in another groups such as the Prouds, Bikers, Royales, etc. encourage you group to start thinking of merging with all other groups in 2016 for that rally.

In the meantime, sign up for the OKC rally which is not a rally.

When the air dryer purges (that’s the sound you hear) it is purging moisture caught by the element.

But your air system needs a whole lot more than just having the dryer purge. The element or dessicant beads get coated with oil after a while and no longer will function to remove moisture. Moisture than passes downstream into your pnuematic system. But even if you change dryer elements or dessicant routinely, you still have to drain the air tanks. You have to especially drain the water trap on the aux system if you use your aux compressor.

I suspect a lot of owners who have neglected their air system’s maintenance have ended up spending thousands to repair the damage moisture will do to the coach pneumatic systems.

    Charles,

I must say, the Prevost Forum group is wonderful. In time, I will learn a great deal from everyone here as they are so helpful. The MCD displayed such things as MPG, instantaneous MPG, trip odometers, average speed, a digital clock, metric/english scaling, etc. You are correct, it does come off of the ECM. How does the Silverleaf Glass Dash work for you. I had Silverleaf in my 07 CCoach Intrigue and always found the Silverleaf people great to deal with and never had a problem with any facet. I did not have a glass dash but had a separate small 3×5 screen that I could monitor trip mileage, mpg, instantaneous MPG, oil pressure & temp, xmission pressure and temp, along with a miriad of other inputs. Many of those items are called out in the Prevost manual under the MCD. I will sorely miss these inputs if not available on the digital dash.

I do not yet know if I need any of the documentation you are talking about. When I get the coach in a couple of days, I will be able to see what Country Coach made available as far as the dash documentation. Thanks so much for offering.

    Jon,

I’ll have to check my receipts next time I go to the coach. I know I have changed the R12 in both CC OTR compressors to R134. A can of R12 was something like $300-400 whereas the friendly to the environment freon was about $100 a can.

Just got back from visiting the coach. Should’a checked the postings before going. Oh well, later …

    Steve,

This is the site you need to bookmark.

    http://www.michelintruck.com/michelintruck/tires-retreads/load-inflation-tables.jsp

First, go to a truck stop and get each of your axles on a different section of scale and get the weights with your coach loaded with all that you typically carry, full fuel, full water and empty holding tank.

Then set your tire pressures according to the chart linked above for the tire size you have. I doubt if your drive or tag axles will be anywhere near 130 PSI. Your steer depending on tire size is a different story. If you steer tires are 315s you might be in excess of their rated capacity in which case you might want to consider putting the steer axle on a diet.

In my 2002 Royale coach which had a Jun Air supplied aux air for leveling in the event thre were leaks in the system for leveling and supplies air for your Zip Dee awning step cover ect. What is critical is the service and replacement of the the water and air seperators as this system used oil and must be seperated. The folks at Royale a Pheonix have these parts in stock and were a great help in getting this right for me. A contaminated air system is a nightmare.

    Corey,

I have 2 pressure switches near the compressor. Each is wired in series with the power to the clutch. So, after waiting for any timer to expire, see if you have voltage going to the first pressure switches. It should be pretty straight forward on which wire is coming to this area. I’d have to see if it’s on the CC drawings, but I was once told the fans under the coach also have to be on.
