    KPG,

Please check the “Flea Market” as I have some hub covers for sale that might work for you. Thanks.

    Dick,

If I have a jack under the coach for support I never ever extend it hydraulically. On my coach lately I use the hydraulic jacks in the front because with the jack fully collapsed and the center screw extended it is the right height to reach within a fraction of an inch under the chassis support points.

I also will use my support stands. It all depends on if I leave the wheels on, or if I need the jack to raise the wheels while I support the chassis on stands.

    Bryan,

Al brought Centramatics to PC and most of us have had great service ordering from them. I would suggest Al gets involved and find out where it all fell apart, with your permission of course.

I don’t know Tom well enough to rib him, but with your blessing, (and backing…):

Vote here: Poll: where did you buy your coach

(You can click on as many selections as you wish, and it’s anonymous, so no worries over Tom’s retribution)! 🙂

Me, on the otherhand; I’m scared!

    Gary…

I was wondering if you have ever had a problem with your holding tank leaking? We were warned by our seller that they are prone to leaking?

Do you know what they’re made of? Stainless or Aluminum or Plastic?

Just wondering hoping we don’t have to replace ours anytime soon… I guess I should call Liberty and see what they’re made of… hopefully they’re stainless steel !!

    Cheers, Diane

I got on the power tech website for you but could not find any info on the Isuzu engine.

Mine has a Kabota engine and at 190 degress operating temp the oil pressure is around 40 or 45 lbs.

On start up it will be around 55 or so then come down to about 40 when at running temp.

I would think anything below 30 at running temp and I might be concerned.

I found nothing on their web site referencing oil pressures at all.

Most 06 and later I’ve seen has the 365’s. The wheel is wider for the 365’s.

Just a vacuum pump. If the system lacks pressure I intend to use it to evacuate any moisture. If it has pressure I am assuming no outside air has entered the system and I can just recharge it.

    Karl,

If you think of it as a 3 day process is might seem daunting, but don’t. Think of it as a number of short duration steps because there is cleaning, prepping (wire brushing, masking, light disassembly), and then paintig, but in stages.

Remove the belts and paint the end of the engine. Then another day work on the LH side with its cleaning, prepping, and some disassembly, and then another time do the RH side. A couple of hours at a time might stretch the 3 days over a couple of weeks but with each few hour period you do see results.

    Jon,

Once you made the decision to stray from original as it was in 1950 you should incorporate tech items for dependability.

Monitoring the new components will give you piece of mind along with accurate readings. I like the dash and the sensors installed on the new engine will correspond. That instrument cluster is pretty cool.

Al, no we haven’t been there. We were at Marathon Florida recently getting a few items handled.

Tom, so far the batteries have performed without issues. However, I don’t have prior experience with which to compare. To date, I have relied on the Auto Gen function to decide when to fire up the generator, and it has worked without problems.
