I attended two years and dry camped. I requested that Jeff run power to me from his house but he refused!

I remember before buying my bus that Jon said “the generator has 2490 hours and that’s good news… It shows it’s been used, always a good thing”! I ran the genny for three days running everything in the coach, 3 air conditioners, refrigerator, lights, TV etc without a hitch. I thought it all pretty impressive from a guy like me who never had an RV before. A generator running everything in the bus without so much as a light dimming. This is old stuff for you guys but was really something to me. I wanted to hook up my spa outside but again, ol kill joy Jeff said Nooooo!

It was a terrific time of learning and fellowship and the food ain’t bad either. If you can make it by all means do so it’s a terrific experience. Just don’t ask Jeff for any special consideration.

Maybe I shouldn’t mention this but Tom suspended my dues the three days I was there!

Might be worth noting that the newer Magnum 4024 inverters have an internal automatic transfer switch.

When AC power is sensed from either shore power or the generator, the inverter goes into “stand-by” mode with the internal transfer switch sending power directly through the inverter.

Most Magnum arrangements do not have an external bypass switch.

Like Geo said, which ones, but there is no cheap way out, Prevost is the source. The only place I know for the flat glass is Suncoast in Hudson and I would buy new before going there.

Let me know what you learn. Mine is the the original unit. A little preventative maintenance is probably a great idea.

But those XDN’s sure do have traction. We used them on our trucks for a few years and they were fantastic in snow and slop!

I checked out the Rasberry when I was at the Mothership last August, but Leon said as long as my unit is working fine, don’t replace it.

But it’ll be on my radar when mine goes out too …

It looks like the part the arrow is pointing to is a fine mesh screen which is the outlet for air exhausted from air bags.
