That brake canister can easily and safely be rebuilt by replacing the rubber diaphragm.

Ed is going to want 1/2.
IMO, that is the mark of a good converter. Ten years or so down the road it sure is nice to have extras like the ones in your care package. It sure makes life a little simpler!

Is that your aux air compressor I see in the photo? I thought all OEM installations used pancake compressors. Details? Comparison? Noise level? Pardon my ignorance…’guess I haven’t looked at that many coaches.

Gary, same thing on our Marathon with a poly ura coating. No polish needed seems to be holding up . Wheels look good with just a wash.
Works for me.

Got the window in Saturday!!! I put what I thought was way too much Sikaflex to be sure to get enough and still had to fill in a little on the outside. The inside filled in just right. Thanks again for all the help!

Here’s my last set of pictures from the engine swap. These pictures don’t cover every step but you can get a rough ideal of the things I made, rebuilt or modified when you watch both slide shows.

We stayed until it was evident the race was not going to happen on Sunday. At 5:00 it was announced it was rescheduled for noon on Monday and since we had Tuesday filled with stuff we would have trouble moving to other times we bailed out at 2:00 AM and got home early afternoon.
We tried watching it on TV last night, but we quickly realized the Sandman wasn’t going to let us stay up as late as it took to finish. Wish we could have stayed,
I took a bunch of photos, but this one of our Knoxville home town guy (Trevor Bayne) was kind of representative of the race weekend.

Referring to the picture of Vita driving the cart onto the joey bed: Once it gets to this point, we simply fold the steering column down and then push the joey bed back into the bay. We chock the wheels to keep the cart from moving back and forth under the bus and then we’re good to go!
Oh – and the beer cooler isn’t shown in these pictures (we just strap it onto the rear seat when in use).
I think we paid about $4,500 for ours.
