Checking my tire Temps, I noticed that my last trip, while pulling a stacker, at 65 mph on a 90 degree hot day, that my drive temps were reading 140 degrees on the outsides. The inside drives, were reading 165 degrees. I am assuming, that being that the insides are not as much in the air flow, and, they are closer to the disc brakes, is why they run hotter. Has anyone else noticed this? The tire pressures are the same, inside and out.

What an adventure. Congrats on your travels. 49 States…I am going to share your story with my wife. Maybe we can conjure up the engery to take a long term road trip.

With the rally starting on Friday it was suggested the chili contest be Saturday. Every one would be settled in not under any pressure getting set up …… then rush to a chili contest.
Bring your killer chili in crock pot at 11;45 am Saturday to our reserved meeting room at Twin Fountains. WE will have electric plug-ins and tables, napkins, 2 oz taste cups, spoons, crackers…… BYOB
We can start taste testing at 12:00 noon thru 1:00 pm. Everyone attending the rally is invited to taste and vote ….One vote per person.
We’ll tally with most votes win fuel cards 1st, 2ad and 3ad.
If there is a tie…. Winners will split the prize or “their” choice a coin flip.
FWIW….Jon did some Tennessee math with 24 buses (current sign up) we should have appox 50 people.
There are “10” chili entries…..so double batch is suggested.

I don’t see myself diving into the Phablets such that I look like a fool walking around with a dinner plate held to my head whilst making a phone call, but it could happen.
Even then, formatting to the phone is more than making the font larger by turning it landscape. It eliminates all of the superfluous media as well, slimming the whole package to something easier to digest.
I’d also like to see it coupled with the ability to read 1 or 2 posts without losing my place. You know, when you click on “Last Read” you either have to read everything there or not know what you haven’t read.
Let’s give them some more ideas and see what happens!

OK, maybe I should have spelled it out. Tom and I don’t want to add more work for ourselves.
We want the map(s) to be member driven, member editied, member controlled. What none of us can do is screen each pin or site because we don’t know if a place is good or bad, and we have to rely on the members to be accurate or at least objective.
What I am looking for, and I hope Tom adds his comments also is for you members to throw out ideas as to the scope, if we need limitations, how we stop some dirt road campground with 30 amp power from posting a rave review, how we stop a hacker from posting adult toy stores, or how we can make it so simple that we get a lot of activity so it becomes a valuable tool.

When I was Coburg I asked them about it… not knowing it was a big issue… they used the hacksaw method to remove the glass and then re-glued it with some sort of special glue… mine still shakes a bit but is way better than it was so you might ask Leon for the details and it might be worth a try…. I will say it looked pretty scary getting the glass off and I could see where breaking it was a good posibility.

Replaced a few of old bulbs with new ones from superbright and the old ones are brighter. Am I missing something?

I’m surprised you haven’t asked Jon to come over with his push mower so the sign can be seen without the weed distractions! That would give him something to do now that his slack adjusters are all brightly polished.
