Chula Vista RV resort is definitely the best park in the San Diego area. Unfortunately it is closing around 2/1 to make way for a new hotel and convention center. They are supposed to build a new park nearby. However nothing has been started yet.

Never. Of course when the steering wheel is at the extreme I am not holding it harder against the stop.

Lets see if can catch up with the questions.
Truk4u; It’s a female (closed) fitting
Racerdave; the only switch I can locate is for the camera system.
Jon; thanks for your concern, I hadn’t really meant to get under the coach. just poor word choice for testing the plugs. It does have a electric brake controller under the dash, but I was told that the coach MAY have also been set up to air brakes for the trailer.
I was hoping to use the M&G brake on my Toad.
I hope to get to spend some time with the coach next week and will update everyone as I make progress

As a cynic I would be very careful about identifying what is going on with the light, camera and air systems on your coach. I don’t believe it is necessary to get beneath the coach to see what is going on, but you do have to use a multi-tester to verify what pins are hot when the lights, brake lights and turn signals are on.
The air likely did not engage the trailer brakes, but could have been used for an Air Force One or M&G supplemental brake. If the coach has a brake controller near or under the dash that will be a good clue about if the trailer brakes were electric or air.

Bill,
That is fantastic that the shop guys came in to do that for you! Glad you got it fixed. Safe trip.

By the looks of the picture and corrosion they’re wet batteries and may even be start batteries, I can’t find any info on them.
Lifeline are the best, 8DA assuming you have auto post.
Fullriver 8D is a little cheaper, but not by much.

I think ETLC still have a few discount cards in the “lounge”.

Just finished the dryer up grade as per Prevost new brake relays valves-all rubber brake lines, started up dryer purged at 120 psi much stronger purge and cuts rite off after purge. So I read this dryer has air inside of its self to purge way larger unit had to weld an extension on bracket and extend supply side of dryer.

Roger,
I think you’ll find a check valve at the secondary supply that feeds the aux tank downstream from the wet and primary tank. Dump the air in your wet tank and see if your aux air depletes. As you use aux air your aux dash gauge does not reflect wet tank pressure due to the check valve.
-
I am paying attention and don’t get the reference to loss of air at the wet tank while calling it acc. Does he have a gauge on the wet tank.
Looking for 15psi per min steady drop in acc (wet tank)
Let us know how it all works out….
-
I know I am asking you to repeat yourself, but this loss of 20 PSI which causes the compressor to recycle only happens when the coach is driven? Never when stationary?
If any of the ball breakers on this site posted this set of circumstances I would say they were playing a joke, but I like you Roger and know you would never make this stuff up
-
When the comp cycles it takes approx 5-10 sec to reach cut off 125 psi. Then 1 min to drop to 100 psi & start over. The primary & secondary remain at 120 psi. Under braking, if all tanks must be filled the charge time increases to 20-30 sec depending on engine speed. At times the cycle rate gets worse, every 30 sec. At times it seems worse under acceleration?
-
Jon, you got it!
Tom, switching level low from road to manual locked or all 3 corners in neutral…very small psi drops can be seen when going over bumps in road position. No little psi drops in manual locked. Looking for 15psi per min steady drop in acc (wet tank) air pressure. Primary & secondary brake air supply remain rock solid at 120 psi during all this.

I’m trying to get my head around this. If I have the facts correct this is puzzling.
With the bus systems air up, engine on or off, but the bus stationary, parking brake on or off pressures remain constant and the compressor does not cycle every minute.
But as soon as it is put in gear and is in motion the compressor one minute cycling occurs, and it is the accessory system with a pressure drop that appears to trigger the compressor cycling.
Is that right?
Now I am going to go crazy trying to figure out what changes from the coach stationary in idle or off, to one in gear and rolling.
-
I replaced unloader valves at 118,000 miles but its also 21 plus years old! did you say on high idle is that every 20 to 30 minutes? mine would cycle on fast idle about every 5 or so minutes
