When I go up a large hill and it’s hot out I noticed temp gauge starts rising and then it fall’s back down. To test if you had an old relay and cut tangs with engine off and key on would fan not turn. And what does the DDEC the 2 relays? and at idle engine cold fan does not turn very fast?

I say be careful.. because I did what you are doing and I liked the experience so much that one year later I was back ordering a brand new one from them.-:)
The folks at Liberty are great and I can’t say enough good things about them. You are going to love owning a Liberty. I can’t tell you how many “noobie” questions I had in my first year or so, and they were always there for me.
I am stickler for great customer service and they are 100% ok in my book!

Accumulator tank pressure is dependent upon the water pump cut in pressure.
Typically the accumulator should be about 2 PSI less than the water pump cut in pressure. To set pressure turn off pump, run the water until there is zero pressure, leave a valve open and pressurize the accumulator to the desired pressure.
Close the valve and turn on the pump.

I’m only guessing … my understanding for most vehicles is that the front axle takes on a very significant amount of the braking load; the rear axle(s) taking must less of the load. The drive axle has four tires vs two on the tag, hence the larger capacity brake chambers on the drive axle. Unless you have ABS on the tag, its possible under heavy braking over a long distance (which should create some weight transfer to the front), the tag axles tires might have a tendency to lock up.
We’ll see how accurate my presumption is.

Stay on I64 to I65…most direct route and least headache. The cloverleaf transitioning from I64 to I65 has rather tight curves, and last time we were thru had construction just across the bridge in Indiana. Watch your speed in Indiana…the boys in blue will be!!

I don’t own a Prevost, but am trying to get all the info I can from you guys and every single reply has been nothing but friendly, welcoming, and willingness to honestly from the heart, I feel, willing to help in anyway possible! That’s what America should be like anyway. A little joking is great and good for the soul! I’ve never met Jon but have privately emailed him. Nothing but honesty and knowledge from that man. easy way get a carpet like material refered to as Ozite, Contact cement and do 1/2 at a time. I used a 2 by 4 to suspend it down the middle 40ft and did 1/2 at a time. The old style cement in red lable can works several times better on long run than new non odor type in green can. You can get high if not well ventilated!! Another one I did with a center island I ran 30 inch wide by 8ft vinyl mirror stock down middle and used marine vinyl down sides. The mirror vinyl holds up good as long as you follow cleaning indtructions and is lite weight. The other way I have done is run the vinyl all the way. I used the 30 inch middle then stepped down 1 inch on side panels the drop I created down middle I recessed 1 inch creating a slight notch for stripp led lighting. I also have a button machine that I cover buttons with with matching vinyl. Sort of neat the center you fasten on with a screw then snap cover on– something like snap on blue jeans. Really good where you want a removeable panel. I run air stapler around edges and cover with whelting. Many ways to do this. The pro conversion I took apart had same process. Plan ahead and you can hide almost all of the edges by fastening pannels from rear. Bob

I was going to avoid the last post because of misconception. It is probably one of the most critical things to do correct the first time around. To the guys with a 2nd hand factory conversion. You don’t really know what has been modified by some good intention person. Your job is just to be aware===If it doesn’t seem to work properly get help. To the guys doing yourself wether from scratch or modifying some one else project .Be dillagent and make record of your work. I myself have made many mistakes and have learned from them. I would be very concerned if my inverters were in the same bay, but the only items in there are the 12v breaker cabinet, the 110v breaker cabinet, and the fiber optic light box (which has it’s own fan), and the central panel switches control box (which has it’s own 2 fans). On the other side is the outside Fridge.
The inverters are in bay 3.
I’m going to just let them run…..like Liberty does.

Getting close on the convincing. The biggest thing people say (pun intended) when they see the bus is how it’s so big. Heck, even to me when I first saw one I person I was like WOW maybe this is a mistake! It’s big for the un-initiated. Now it doesn’t seem big to me at all but I remember that first shock. Of course she said the same thing.Their kids love the bus now, and they have an airstream already so although it’s a big step…. It’s only a step towards a Prevost. The slide situation could have been better but I think that she’ll get to see it the next time. Everything else worked as designed so that was good.
We plan on doing it again soon so that the kids can hang out by the entertainment bay. This time was slightly rushed as it was the birthday party for their daughter and it was raining.
Her husband and I want to find just the right 100 acres in Oregon to put in a few pads for the busses so we can take the kids camping… But the ladies can live resort style while we roast marshmallows on a campfire.
It’s a process but I’m keeping at it!!
