Thanks for all the good input. The day I am talking about was 2 degrees. It was extreme. Our dryer is new and my compressor was new last summer. We don’t have an aux compressor because I don’t have floor slides, pocket doors, or other such accessories. Before adding the drains, all tanks were drained and cleaned and the system was purged. I think we’re in good shape now. Thanks again for the input.

PC rallies are not done. PC rallies that Tom and I organize and put together may be done or just put on hold.

There is nothing that will stop a rally if the members want to put one together, and that rally can be completely organized, or it can be a no agenda rally where folks just agree to show up somewhere for a few days to enjoy one another’s company. PC has already had a couple of those rallies with no schedule and they have been fun.

Tom and I have been involved in participating in rallies in which the members of the group organized and took control of the rally. The rally was a team effort with different tasks being performed by the different team members. One would handle the financial side of the rally, one would set up the catering and meal schedule, one member would arrange the off site activities, one would handle the seminars, and so forth. We will be happy to allow any PC or other group members to use our site to advertise, and aid in the communications necessary to put together a rally.

Just be aware rallies, especially larger ones need a long range plan because there are so many organizations doing rallies the good venues need not only to be scheduled a long time in advance, they also will expect some earnest money.

Not sure where you see the 1/4″ difference, but I do know if the door doesn’t whistle as you go down the road, leave it the way it is.

A lot of time and effort has been spent trying to get the doors adjusted so they don’t make noise.

They are adjustable, so if there is an issue you can work with it to correct the problem.

This is thread drift and if Tom objects I will delete this. This is not political but is an observation on how to accomplish what Gil suggests.

We can compete in this country against offshore producers, but it is easy for companies to source their products elsewhere mostly as a means of replacing their own production which was closed or is no longer competitive due to what manufacturer’s face in the US today.

If we all agree as humans that our workplace laws regulations and practices along with our environmental regulations are morally the correct thing to do to protect worker safety and well being as well as protecting the environment we literally have the solution to the outsourcing in our own hands. But pay close attention to what I just said. We have to agree the laws and regulations imposed on our domestic manufacturers are justified. If so, then it follows that we just need to quit sticking our head in the sand and face the fact if those laws are morally the right thing to do, then we just need to pass an omnibus law that says we can outsource any product or service and import it with no tariffs or duty as long as the goods or services were created or provided in strict conformance to the laws and regulations imposed on our domestic suppliers.

If we opt to not do that we are exporting our environmental and human safety issues offshore and pretending they don’t exist.
