  • Louisville, Kentucky Road question

Posted by Andre on July 20, 2017 at 5:50 pm

Will be traveling thru Louisville, Ky tommorow. I will be coming in from the east on I-64 and need to get to I-65 going north. Should I take I-64 thru the center of town and hit I-65? Or, it looks like there is a new east side bypass, I-265 that connects I-64 to I-65. Has anyone used that bypass? Looking on google maps, I’m not sure if it is finished. Anyone have first hand knowledge of Louisville?

By the way we are on our way to Elkhorn Rv Resort in SpearFish, SD. Them on to Glacier anf Yellowstone.

Check out Polson RV Resort Andre, it’s great, but be careful if you run into Bernie..

    Andre,

Stay on I64 to I65…most direct route and least headache. The cloverleaf transitioning from I64 to I65 has rather tight curves, and last time we were thru had construction just across the bridge in Indiana. Watch your speed in Indiana…the boys in blue will be!!

    Safe travels. See you soon…

    Mike,

Thanks, we took I-64 thru town and it was not bad. Made it with no issues. Traffic was heavy in spots but got a lot thinner as we got closwr to the bridge.
